Does what it needs to
Works great. Rubber is soft and pliable and so seals drains well.

My baby’s favorite bath toy…
I purchased this tub stopper hoping that it would keep my baby from sticking his fingers down the drain. While it has plenty of suction power to keep water in the tub, it can be easily moved and picked up by curious little hands. We have a built-in drain switch, so this has just become another bath toy. My baby likes to pick it up and put it back over the drain. If you are trying to find a way to keep your little one’s hands out of the drain, I would recommend an actual plug rather than this stopper. If you are an adult who will leave this in place, it’s a great value for money and does what is promised.

Great Purchase
This seals tightly so the water does not noticeably leak out of the sink even overnight

This kept the water in the bath tub for the whole time. Well worth it to purchase it.
Had a new tub put in and the plug never worked right. I ordered this stopper and it was perfect. I'drecommend it.

Heavy duty, but relatively rigid
If you’re on the knife edge about whether to make this investment, maybe this will help you decide:This is a more robust drain. That means it will hold up to some abuse over time. However, the thicker rubber is pretty rigid, which makes it less likely to seal if your drain is uneven and there isn’t a lot of water weight pushing down on it. I bought this for doing laundry in a hotel sink, and it doesn’t help seal basins with drains containing more rounded, pop-up style plugs. It’d be a great plug for other purposes, but not great for my application.
