Well, I really did have high hopes for this beautiful looking iPhone 8 wallet case. But this truly is a case of looks are only skin deep. I am not one to blithely post 1 star reviews - but I just had to share my experience with this product to help steer other shoppers away from purchasing this wallet.I bought this specifically to use on a Disney World trip that I took just this past weekend. I thought this case would protect my phone better in a more rigorous environment that is a Disney theme park. Ummm - no - mistake - big, BIG mistake.On the second day of the trip, the phone, inside the wallet, accidentally fell no more than two feet to the floor. Yes, you guessed it - immediate black screen of death. I simply could not believe it. The screen wasn't even cracked - so the impact was not all that great. My silicone case that I normally use ALL of the time has done a MUCH better job of protecting my phone than this product.Also, the magnets don't keep the wallet closed worth a damn. The wallet will only stay closed completely EMPTY - without the phone even in it.Unless you want to deal with a trip to the Apple Genius Bar - which most of us try to avoid at all costs - do NOT purchase this wallet!!

The magnet holds the case flap open which is nice. But there's nothing to keep it closed. I'm also not happy with the space it has for cash. You can fit one bill folded into 1/3rds, any more just won't fit. If the cash isn't folded into 1/3rds it won't fit fully into the slot and then the cover will not close at all. Also you absolutely can not use this case to prop up your phone to watch something.But, the leather quality is nice. I like the fully smooth edges and the color is lovely.

I got the plum, but the color was more like a burgandy. Over time it has changed to a grape/burgandy and has grown on me. I do like the book style close, but if you put a few cards in wallet it won't stay shut. Otherwise, the magnet closure is great. There are a few loose strings, and while this is definitely leather, it gets scuffed and matte easily. Every so often I buff it up with a shoe shine brush. Overall I really like this IPhone case

Very nice case, bought three of those: one to replace the original, which - I hate to admit it! - drowned together with the iPhone in a toilet, and another one - to fit the next iPhone model.Changing to three stars: after less than 6 months the plastic case started to break and pieces of it to fall out. It can still hold the phone but only barely. Customer service is unresponsive.

I like this case. The color borders on being more taupe than gray, but it still works for me. One customer stated in their review that the one they bought wasn’t leather. Mine is definitely leather... feels and smells like leather... not at all the fake stuff. I like the slots for carrying a few cards and cash, and I like that I don’t have a tab to pop open before I can open the case. Very good craftsmanship. Overall a winner!

This case is a beautiful mulberry red or wine red color (not purple) with a gorgeous very-lightly weathered finish. I absolutely love it!Since it's leather, I expect it to have a long life and it may even outlast the phone. 😊 However, that being said, I would definitely buy it again if I need a new case.

I liked all the features of this case for my new iPhone SE. Unlike some descriptions that list leather and then when you read further you find that it is PU leather, this case is real leather and is made beautifully. Even the box that holds the case is professionally made. My phone fits well in the case. I would not hesitate to recommend this seller for beautiful workmanship and attention to detail.

It was cute, but NOT leather. They sent the wrong color and the camera cut-out was not correct or adequate for taking pictures while in the holder. It was slim and the magnet was right, cards and cash fit in the pockets. I sent it back because of the camera cut-out, the fact that they sent green, not purple and it was the farthest thing from leather that I'd ever seen. So, if you never take pictures and you don't care what color you get, it is fine.
