Good buy
Bought this Docking System for my Dell Venue Tablet. The unit is sturdy and gives addded functionality for my Tablet.Even though I do not use the HDMI, I found the port to be having some issues. It would have been better, if the back support was tiltable, to enable ease of carrying.

Good concept, bad shelf life.
Goals: Media Center (streaming to TV via browser/apps), video conferencing would be a plus.Keeping it charged: Check.Support plate: It doesn't bend/adjust at all, which limits webcam use for conferencing. The docking port adjusts -- weird given the support plate -- but doesn't lock the tablet in place. It feels like it'll fall out with a light bump or breeze. Can't speak to the other ports. I used a network based keyboard, and HDMI for audio, which leads to:The video ports worked great... for about a week, then died.Since the video was my main goal, returned it.

Adds additional ports to the Tablet.
I use this Tablet Dock to connect to a 32" TV Monitor with external mouse & keyboard. I works well, but the connection between the tablet & dock is a little sensitive to being bumped or knocked. I think this is inherit to its design & Not because the one I got was defective or flaky. An important Note: The HDMI port for a monitor on the tablet is a Mini-MDMI port & requires an adapter from Mini to Full size, but the Dock has the normal full-size port eliminating the adapter. Because HDMI cords are normally thick & stiff, a person can easily stress & damage this port by trying to move the cord out of the way while its plugged in. The mini sized port is even more susceptible to being stressed because it is smaller. I would rather replace the Dock because of a broken port, than replace the tablet itself.I'm very glad I got it.
