As the title says, I think it's a bit pricey to. I grew up in a country where these were common and inexpensive. This isn't quite as good as many of those, but it was close, and I don't have access to those right now.

It's not Christmas unless there's stollen. Bought these and they were delicious and arrived quickly. It's just that I found them also at Aldi's for a fraction of the price. Why are these so expensive when buying them online?

This was surprisingly fresh and had a wonderful flavor just like we remembered! We could not find any for Christmas in the local stores, but of course Amazon had it! It was expensive but it was so good we accepted the price...

Not very fresh. I purchased it for my mother for Christmas because her German mother (my grandmother) used to give us all a loaf of Stollen every Christmas when she was still with us. Disappointed that it didn't measure up to the standard we have all been used to for so many years.

This item was my winner of the Christmas season. I bought several to add to gift baskets. They were a complete success. Plenty of fruit, great texture , delicious taste, and a very reasonable cost. Fortunately the stollens freeze well too.

I buy apple marzipan stollen each year to give as gifts. My local supplier ran out, and I ordered 6 loaves of this product. The texture is gooey as if not quite baked long enough and has a bitter flavor. Since the unopened loaves cannot be returned, they going into the garbage. That is a lot of money to throw away. Update: Amazon Prime is the best! They contacted the vendor and issued a refund.
