there were no instructions so i used it on damp hair, because i wanted to maintain my curl definition, and it worked like a charm! i used no other products, just the wax. i went through my hair section by section, applying liberally, and used about 1/2 the container for my whole head to be this vibrant. i was skeptical just going based off the other reviews and limited showcasing of the actual product in hair, but it's actually great. i made sure to cover up my skin with a towel, use gloves, and then diffused my hair and it dried set with a medium hold. then i cleaned up my hair line and part with a wet q-tip to make it look more natural. i used this for my coraline costume and it lasted all day. washes out and off easily too! it dries a good bit but it will still leave a little blue on you if you touch it too much, nothing too bad though. and i don't usually leave reviews but i just had to for this one because i was so pleasantly surprised. so, if you're debating on taking a chance on this product, do it!

Got this for Halloween. The first pic is before (my hair looks way more brown than the picture leads to believe), and you can see how amazing it turned out!This is probably a “duh” thing, but make sure you brush your hair before applying. Once you apply, brushing is basically out of the question!Worked wonderfully for why I needed :-)Washing out wasn’t as bad as I expected. I used about half the jar, let water rinse out most of the color, then shampooed twice (might not have actually needed the second shampooing though).Some did get on my costume, but I cleaned it off the white almost right away and it all came out.

So I have chestnut brown/red hair and I am using this as an additive for the wig I will be wearing. I just got this today and saw a lot of the complaints.When I used this- I used gloves, and got rid of all of the other hairs.I saw that it needed to be dry so I waited and then used my hairdryer.I also continued to brush the hair with a combit was still a bit stiff but is going to be a huge difference for me,Going forward It sill looked super cute!Also was out of my hair in one wash

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she has brown hair and is always wanting to dye it a differnt color. I thought this might be a fun alternitive, and picked a color recomended for dark hair. She has thick curly hair, after reading reviwes it seemed like this would be great for her. WRONG!!!!!! I watched videos, and read instructions before applying this to her hair, her hair was clean and free of tangles. I put it on and the hair just stuck together, I then tried to brush through it, and apply a second layer like read or watched. no can do, there is no brushing through it, it is a matted mess, like if I took a ton of hair spray and sprayed it together. I though hey maybe it is just her hair, so tonight I tried it, I have the exact oppiste hair from my daughter, where hers is short, thick and curly, mine is long, straight and thin. I put on a light coat, and then tried to comb through it and it hurt, it was hard but i got through it, i looked in the mirror andf there is no color, ok so i need a second coat. I put a second light coat on the strands i was doing, only going for streaks, this time it was IMPOSSIBLE to comb through, I am not tenderheaded, but this was not good! I eneded up pulling out my hair, it was matted, it was a gross mess. I washed it out. DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF, it does not work , like it shows.

The media could not be loaded. The gold was a bit too bright for me and I regretted putting it in until it started to fade. Since my hair is about a 2/1B it not gives me T30/27 vibes. I applied the wax and leave in conditioner to my hair (alternating between the two) to prevent it drying out. Once my hair dried I slept in my satin scarf and there wasn’t any product transfer. If I played in my hair during the day I would see a little on my fingers from the oil there but that was all. None got on my clothes. I was worried I would sweat during sports and it would get on my shirts but that did not happen.I didn’t find this messy to use and I didn’t apply it with gloves on.Disliked: The orange did arrive opened and didn’t stick to my hair well (it’s on the tips of the gold in the video) The pink looks very red.When I took out my twists there were flakes in my dress. I brushed most away.

This covered my bright red hair completely with one light coat over wet hair it turned like galaxy purple but completely covered my brown roots to a nice bright blue and with a second coat on dry hair it made for the beautiful bright blue corpse bride hair I bought this to try before going full blue and dying it in case it turned out bad absolutely recommend itIt is like a hair gel consistency though I tried brushed through my hair after the first coat dried and it worked just fine but completely covered my brush and took out a decent amount of the color my hair became but more like brush able and braidable and more like normal hair but I don’t recommend brushing itOn the plus side even after leaving it in my hair for a solid week it rinsed completely out in the shower before I even used shampoo or conditioner no staining at all and my hair is as soft as ever I was worried I might be purple for a couple washes but no staining happened

It feels so heavy and bad when applied. Felt awful to the touch. It made it hard to brush my hair. Might be fine to use like hardening hair gel for shorter hair but not good for long hair. It did come out easily in the shower on the first try though without staining light colored hair.

My son needed silver hair for a character in a play he was in. We were steered toward color spray, but we'd had a lot of trouble with it in the past (running down the face and neck by the end of the day). This hair wax is a good consistency to first add to wet hair and then comb through. Depending on the level of color you want, you may have to apply it twice. The cleaning process was quick and easy. This product not only colored his hair but kept it in place for the performance.
