I planted the bulb in the included growing media on December the 2nd, and as of January 2nd, there was no sign of life from the bulb. I notified Amazon that I was returning the bulb for replacement. On January 7th, I went to pack up the bulb for return to Amazon, and noticed a small spot of green at the top of the bulb. I decided to wait a bit to see if the bulb was dead. On January 15th, there is a leaf that is about 5 or 6 inches tall growing out of the bulb. So, I cancelled the Amazon return. Apparently, it can take over a month for the bulb to show signs of life, and I just didn't wait long. enough for this one.l I've grown amaryllis flowers in the past, but never had to wait over a month for the bulb to show life. So don't give up on your amaryllis bulb too soon...

15 blossoms from one bulb!

I ordered two kits from 2 vendors. I received them both today. The Apple Blossom from this vendor very disappointed! Growth is approximately 4 to 5 inches and of course, in a box, the stems are bent over and are white in color. I suspect it will bloom to some affect within a few days. Not worth the amount of money I paid for this. Apparently, no assessment of bulb was done before sending 2 days ago.

This bulb was a gift for ny nother and she loved it. It produced 5 flowers then put out another stem with 5 more!

Doing great outside! Already has grown 4 flowers in a month!
