Not stainless steel

Ordered these for my daughter and she was very careful with her necklace. Cared properly for it because she fell in love with it as soon as she saw it and put it on. After 2 weeks the necklace turned. The silver color wore off and turned toan ugly brown brassy color. This is not stainless steel as described in description. Do not recommend
