Great
K.R. Alexander is truly an amazing author, and my 12-year-old daughter absolutely adores her books. We've purchased all of her works and are eagerly awaiting the release of her new book. Alexander's storytelling captivates young readers with imaginative plots and relatable characters. Her ability to engage and inspire young minds is truly commendable. We can't wait to see what she has in store for her fans in the upcoming book!

Love the Scary YA Book
I have already read a few books by Alexander, which were amazing. This one Escape did not disappoint either. I couldn't wait to get to the ending to see how everything ended up.Cody, the main character, wants to get picked to go somewhere amazing. He has learned everything there is to know about this place called Escape. He even sacrificed his phone and his parents getting mad at him for the potential opportunity. What Cody doesn't know is that things don't always add up, and twists and turns can happen. Read the book to find out what Cody gets himself into.I absolutely love how Alexander made Cody out to be what every typical kid wants to be famous. He wants to be known, and most people, even adults, can relate to that. This fact made it easy to relate to the main character about how some things work.Alexander's descriptions of scenes were so detailed that I felt like I was actually experiencing what Cody and his friends were going through. What would be even more intriguing would be to see the perspectives of the other kids involved in the storyline, especially during the competition.Alexander is an author of scary stories, and this one did not disappoint. Of course, it was at a YA level and not adult, so it couldn't be too scary. It did have me holding the book pretty tight at some scenes, though. The vividness of the descriptions helped with that.I give this story a 5/5 star rating. I highly recommend anyone who likes to read a suspenseful twisted story to read this book. Again, it is YA, so it isn't as intense as some of the adult scary books.

Good, but not as engaging as his other works.
I was entertained but not impressed with this one. It started out strong but as soon as they get to the park it starts to slowly become underwhelming. There are so many opportunities to up the suspense that were missed. This is a decent story, but I feel like it should have been fleshed out a little more.

Golden ticket
“I got the golden ticket!” This is very much a Willy Wonka story. When the latest and greatest theme park has a soft opening, it is rolled out for teenage celebrities and influencers. And then a break, when our protagonist finds that thirty regular teenagers will be chosen for the soft opening. Every day for thirty days, one name will be chosen, and Cody is desperate to be one of the chosen. Cody does not have the best family life and his parents are always fighting. When they are not fighting they are teaming up to fight him. Cody has a dream of owning, operating and designing his own theme park rides.
