MUST HAVE FOR PSE BOW
Very easy to install. It does stop the twang sound on strings. The twang sound is loud enough alert deer or whatever is in season. I install one at the bottom and top of strings. Bow is virtually silent, just what I wanted to achieve.

Cat whiskers
They are cat whiskers. No frills no thrills just gets the job done. I installed mine but placing it between the bow strings and then a little serving to just keep it there. Good product.

Best Option
Cat whiskers are great, best string silencer option for sure and I've used them for years on various bows. No need to serve them in, just rip a sheet down the middle and tie one each at the top and bottom of the bowstring using an overhand knot. Pull/stretch each tag end and scissor cut to preferred length, the whiskers will separate in the same process. They work just as well if not better than the latest string silencer offerings, add less weight, last longer, and stay put without require string separation and/or serving. That said, for the most economical approach (4 silencers from 1 sheet at 1-1/4" long), just cut from whisker sheet your preferred length and fasten with serving thread using 3 or 4 double overhand knots (alternating over/under the string) applied to the middle and they will never move. Recommend over all other string silencers.

Silence is golden, and cheap too!
Okay, I'm a recurve lover. So I bought this new OMP. It's a real sweet shooting bow. Very consistent...But it had this really alarmingly loud "THRAAAAANG!" when I shot it, and a pretty nasty vibration. So I got the calf skin string notch pads and it cured 90% of the vibration, but it was still a little too noisy. Now, I've tried all kinds of different whiskers,and puffs,and leeches, but these are the best. Their water proof, long lasting, and it doesn't seem to kill my string speed like some of the other big puffy ones. NOW, the bow does a nice quite "thrwooof" that can't be heard from very far off...great product. Great price. And I don't care much for ornamentation, but they look pretty cool to!

A great addition to any bow.
This is an excellent addition to my PSE prophecy. It does silence the string and looks really great. It is best to place the bow in a press and add between the strands for a more secure hold. Instructions are on you tube for installation if you haven't done this before. This can be done without a press.
