I've had many energy drinks, many different teas and extracts for energy over the years. I have to say this concoction is stellar. It's almost what I would mix myself if I had bought all the extracts. Moderate green tea caffeine. High lions mane. High Cordyceps. Mid-High ginseng. Some L-Theanine is always nice in the mix. Not overloaded with B vitamins or anything that can cause weird effects. This is not so much an energy drink as it is a health drink. These things would be good to supplement on their own if you were trying to various health issues. It's basically a mix with a lower ratio of caffeine and relies on the other ingredients to potentiate the effect of caffeine. This great if you are trying to consume less caffeine. Yet this easily feels stronger than a red bull for me, but it does feel better because lions mane and ginseng are generally more enjoyable to me. The flavour will be weird to anyone expecting an energy drink flavour. No beating around the bush on that. It may be very weird and somewhat off-putting. As the flavour is actually a tad spicy because the mushroom extracts do have a subtle spicy flavour to them naturally. Then they use natural fruit juices. So it's like subtly spicy fruit juice. Personally I love spicy thai food and fruit flavors so I am very fond of the flavor. It is unique. I wish I could buy it without any caffeine or mushroom in it just for a typical soda. Then it has extra sweetener added with erythritol and monkfruit so you can get comparable sweet with less erythritol. I find this too is appropriately minimal and not over powering, and is appropriately blended with all the flavors that there is no odd flavour from the monkfruit. Some people complained the flavor was weird because of too much of these sweeteners, and I don't believe that's true. The sweetener are appropriately balanced with the other flavors. The weird flavour is entirely from the mushroom extracts, but depending, you might really like that, I do.

I’ve been buying these for a while now, It’s honestly hard picturing my life without these. I’m a sucker for energy drinks but these let me enjoy drinking energy drinks without turning everyone around me into a doctor. They are good, healthy, keep me sharp between the eyes and I don’t get a ton of comments about how bad energy drinks are for my health. Protect this company at all costs!

Pricey, but no after taste and while maybe not actually effective I felt like it was. I like it for the taste alone. For reference I got the one with passion fruit/guava. The blue lemonade one is kinda gross, but still not bad enough to keep me from finishing it.

Love that they aren't super sugary like other natural energy drinks. I can feel healthy while still getting some caffeine in!

The pack of 12 cans arrived in a cardboard tray, shrink wrapped in plastic. When I removed the cans from the cardboard tray, there was TONS of mold in the bottom. None of the cans had leaked, but the tops of a few were misshapen, indicating they may have been dropped at some point. There was mold all over the bottom of the cans themselves when I wiped them off. The expiration date was about a month and an half after I received the cans. I was afraid to drink them given the considerable amount of black mold and the close expiration date. I drank one anyway. The taste is poor, and my stomach became mildly upset. As stated, these don’t have much sugar, and the flavor itself is light. It is hard to describe the taste, other than a very watered down energy drink with a small hint of mushroom powder in it. The aftertaste is not great if you have these early in the morning like I do. I didn’t notice any strong nootropic effects from this beverage. Admittedly it does take some time for mushrooms to have an effect, one would have to drink these for a month to notice much. Still, there is L-Theanine and Ginseng which should have some effect. I poured the drink into a glass, and it was quite clear, so it is hard to believe there is 2.75 grams of mushrooms in the can. After more investigation, I found that this company uses a special process to extract some elements of the mushrooms. My intuition says that you aren't going to get the full effects from the mushrooms this way, but I am not a scientist. There are much better “health oriented” energy drinks out there that don’t make my stomach queasy. These are quite expensive as well. I will give them credit for attempting to make a high quality energy drink. I like their ideas for less sugar (but not zero sugar), good flavors, mushrooms, and other interesting ingredients. Unfortunately their execution and quality control is poor. I will not try anything from this brand again after this experience. EDIT: The company contacted me and offered to make amends. After trying another can from a second case which was not close to expiration and covered in mold, I have determined the taste is the same as the the couple I had from the first case. I have also determined the poor taste stems from the use of erythritol as a sweetener. This is a "sugar alcohol" which has been shown to have negative health effects and commonly causes stomach/gastrointestinal discomfort. This explains the queasiness I feel after drinking these. Unfortunately for this company, I am going to leave this negative review up as my experience remains unsatisfactory.
