Good price but you get what you pay for

Good batteries! No complaints!

I discovered my thermometer had low battery and would not work (of all things...) and instead of buying a new price-gouged one, I did a little research to figure out which one I needed. Instead of buying 20 of the same kind, seeing as I have other things with button sells, I wanted to buy a multipack, and this one seemed the best. The packet is bigger than I had imagined, about as big as a piece of computer paper, but still thin and won't take up too much room. I wish each cell had a perforated back so i can pop one out at a time and keep them organized as they are, but I had to cut the plastic on the front to only get the one. Fits in my thermometer! No fever! These will come in handy when any of my knickknacks or laser pointers (for pets) run out of battery.

I have a set of digital calipers that finally died on me after 5 years of infrequent use. I pop it open and see that I need an AG13 357 equivalent battery so I figure, "No problem, I'll mosey down to [insert big name department store here] and pick one up. No luck. It always seems that the stores have every other type of battery ever invented by humans, but never the one I need. I'm sure the same happens to you. Plus, if they did have it, it would have been $4.99 for a single battery.I find this kit on Amazon that has enough batteries power the International Space Station for less than 5 bucks and figure I'd give it a shot. I'm a big fan of trusting product reviews and saw plenty speaking about missing batteries, dead batteries, almost dead batteries....but I figure for 5 cold, hard, American dollars and free shipping, what could possibly go wrong. Heck, I even rolled the dice and ordered two of them.The package arrived in great condition. No batteries missing. No torn packaging.I popped out an AG13 357 battery and put it in my digital calipers. I screwed the battery cover back on (those screws tiny even by amoeba standards) and held my breath when I pushed the power button not knowing if the battery was going to be a dud or not. To my delight it powered right up.Now I know that my 2 days with these batteries hardly classifies itself as a long-term review. For all I know, the battery I installed may be the only working battery in the entire pack and it may only last for a month. I don't know about you, but I never kept small batteries like this on hand. I understand that if you use hearing aids or something like that you probably have a handy little supply tucked away somewhere, but who really keeps a supply of batteries laying around for watches, calculators, thermometers, key fobs, or itty-bitty key chain lights? I didn't....until I got this kit! For me, even if these batteries don't last long, this kit provides ample enough batteries for me to replace my dead battery until I can find one from a name-brand manufacturer that I can expect longer life from.I'll do a follow-up review after I've been able to use these batteries some more. All I can honestly comment on now is that the one battery I did use is working. Heck, even if they don't last long, they're only five bucks! 5 bucks! I just had a change of heart...unless these batteries explode and catch my clothes on fire, I don't see how they rate lower than 5 stars based entirely on the price.

I’m always in need of some sort of button cell battery or another. I do know that replacing a watch battery will cost me $14 in a local jewelry store because I had one replaces a short while ago. Not that I mind going local, but for other small needs I love to have an assortment of button cell batteries on hand.I’ve found that some of the individual battery prices around here are simply outrageous. I’m not willing to pay more than ten dollars when I can pay less than that for a nice assortment like this. If I find I’m in need of a specific type of coin cell battery on a frequent basis, I’ll order that separately.It’s when I purchase something that immediately needs a battery replacement that frustrates me. I need to drive at least twenty minutes, sometimes only to find they don’t have the battery, but will be willing to order one into the store for next day delivery at no cost. There is a cost and that includes not only the expense of the battery, but my time and gas.This assortment is perfect for those unexpected needs. I have a battery storage area where these will be tucked away. I do have specialized batteries for hearing aids (these are too expensive for that), my digital cameras, and a few other things. It’s the replacement of little odd things that gets to me, but now I’m prepared. A large selection of batteries at budget price. Package had battery’s mixed in differently marked blister pack areas. I have no problem differentiating but only point out for Manufacturers Information.I appreciate you looking at my review and you find it helpful.😃

I checked voltages on the ones I planned to use before installing, only found one even close to the 1.55V it was supposed to be. One of the AG1 (364) batteries fit too loosely for the watch to not occasionally stop when wearing it. I replaced with an Energizer and it fit snugly and solved the problem. After reading about leakage, size and longevity problems with cheap batteries I concluded it wasn't worth using any of them permanently.
