This respirator is functional and comfortable - with two draw-backs: 1- It rides high enough on the bridge of my nose to make safety glasses sit a little too high. Mine have the readers in them and it messes with view. 2- It's winter here, and I don't always work with the wood stove cranked up. In a 40 - 50 degree shop, the condensation builds up rather quickly and will start dripping out the exhalation valve. Then I stop and use a paper towel to sop out the excess moisture.On the plus side, it is effective at keeping the sawdust out of my nose and lungs. I tried a couple of the lightweight nylon units, but didn't get on to fit properly.

Seemed to work well. Comfortable to wear.

The product itself if very nice and well made. Easy to use and comfortable. My problem was with the seller I purchased from.

Seals well to face and accepts many 3M filters. Delivered quickly and product exactly as stated.

This respirator has a teal/blue facemask (as seen in the product photo). When I received mine, it stank with a horrible plastic smell. I thought it was just because it was new, but several months later that stink still hasn't gone away.It arrived without much packaging - just in an unsealed plastic bag with 3M logos on it. It struck me I might have received an item used and returned by someone else. I hope I haven't been breathing in anything dangerous.I had an older 3M respirator with a purely grey facemask which never smelled that way and never gave me any problems.An item like this really ought to be shipped in factory-sealed packaging. If it really was a new-from-factory smell, that concerns me as it's still present months later.
