Review: Lots of memory for samples - Although other roland grooveboxes have support for samples their memory is too small for anything more than one-shots. The sp404mk2 on the other hand has a huge memory that seems endless. I wanted this for use with a microphone. it has an xlr port, phantom power and a 6mm jack input. The quality is very good. Obviously a high quality microphone helps ! The construction is solid. The instruction manual is typically roland - It gets infuriatingly vague in places, but otherwise is very detailed and practical. You have to download it from the website btw. The FX features are excellent.
