BUY THIS VACUUM! ATE POOP AND STILL WORKS PERFECTLY! Ok so I bought this vacuum in January because my old Roomba sucked and I wanted a robot vacuum that did not have a mop. I could already tell it was much better/quieter than my old Roomba. Then in April my dog pooped on the rug and since I had it on the automatic clean the robot of course ate the poop. Since I wasn't home my kids tried to clean it up but did not do a good job and there was pooped dried and caked on it when I came home. I literally washed/scrubbed this vacuum in the sink without even taking the battery out because I thought it was done for. I let it dry out for a few days and when it finally dried it worked fine. It is still going 2 months after the event, and I did not have to buy a new robot. It cleans great too! Definitely worth it.

This is a very good product for the price. I love watching it wandering around my living areas. It goes in a grid pattern. I had a lot of trouble getting started with it, as I live alone, and no one wanted to help me. But Shark phone support is exceptional and I managed to get it going. I wasn't interested in mapping my rooms because I know a few people who never use theirs because they put off the job of programming it. I just let it wander and its sensors turn it around if it bumps into something. It did a very good job on my carpeting. If it gets too stuck I just pick it up and re-position it. I love how, when I turn it off, it finds its way back to its home base. I don't care that I am not using its' "smartness". It cleans my carpets, and provides a wee bit of amusement.

When the initial order arrived and I open it and began following the enclosed directions, I realized that the directions did NOT match the product. E.G. Directions showed 2 side brushes the product had a single side brush and the apparent port area for the second brush was sealed over (a different floor panel installed). Further, the directions indicated an "on/off" button on the back of the base. Again, no button and the area was sealed off. Thinking it was an error in delivery, Amazon issued me a replacement. It was exactly the same. It too has been returned. What possible use is a robotic floor vacuum with a single side brush?? Ordered and received a NEW version (not refurbished, as the 1st 2 were) opened the box AGAIN there is a single side brush, as in the refurbished models, and no on/off switch. As noted it is not as advertised. I will give it a try, but I expect it to be substandard. Not acceptable for the price. Beware, of this particular item. It is a replacement for a refurbished Shark, that finally wore out. I was VERY happy with the job it did.

I tried several and needed a Robo that would vacuum up onto a new oriental rug. I appreciate the mapping feature and the ability to set up room zones. Scheduling days and time is easy and the report that shows area cleaned is a plus. One oddity, the dust collector is located on the side that attaches to the charger. You pull it away from the charger to remove and clean it, then place it back on to charge. It cleans in rows, no bumping from side to side. It runs for 90 minutes and if it does not complete the house, goes to base, recharges and then returns to the area it missed. It does a great job and is not too loud. This was a good choice and great price.

I love it I do. But don’t for one second think after you set this up you own your house. It will be in charge. Furniture: it will decide where it goes Some days it will go under, some day it will get stuck under. Rugs: some days no problem others, they are a cliff and it will not go on them. You are home: all it will do is attack you, loves hide and seek so don’t even try. Cords: ha! If they touch the ground Sharky will pull them out of the socket Throw blanket it’s favored food! Stairs: stairs are a cliff and Sharky will tell you no I’m not moving at all now that I’m close or some days it will have enough and throw itself down them. Anything on the floor: I mean anything it will try to eat it and get stuck. Rug stuck - you leave a 1” thick pipe it will climb on top of it - multiple times. Children drop crumbs Sharky will ignore if it did that area already, kids drop a sock, the second it touches the ground Sharky will stop in its track and b-line right for it, and get stuck and scream. String/yarn will get tangled and you will need to take apart Sharky and get it out of every crevice- honestly don’t even bring string, rope or yarn into your house. If you spill something it will rub it onto everything - mostly things you love it knows. Don’t buy juice. Some days Sharky is a little angel, other days nothings changes and Sharky is making some god awful sound. Kinda like Chewbacca, and than will die dramatically on that spot May leave marks on all furniture at its hight. Pros. It will pick up all the crumbs - dust bin fills up fast. And honestly I never have to vacuum anymore. And Sharky lets me stay there so we cool. I’m going to buy another.

Purchased on a black Friday deal and have no regrets. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and this has been amazing at helping me to keep up with the fur trails in the house. We have hardwood and tile throughout with a couple of area rugs. I previously had an older model Shark that just bounced around everything. It did ok, but missed a lot. I didn't realize how much it missed until I started using the new one. Set up and operation is fairly easy. There is a little bit of a learning curve with the app set up and marking your rooms, but once I figured out I could zoom in, that helped. I can't believe how much more surface area this robot picks up compared to the old model. The robot vacuums around the perimeter and then vacuums like it's completing a strip and grid search in your room. It will empty itself if it gets full and will even re-charge and re-start if it needs a little robot nap. The self-emptying feature is pretty cool, so you don't have to empty each day. I especially enjoy the ability to spot clean an area or only certain rooms. You don't realize how convenient until you use it! We have had to clean the roller out about once a week for some wrapped up hair, but that is to be expected and is very easy to open the flap and take out the hair. Don't forget to check your filters as well, as it's easy to forget with the self-emptying function (out of sight/out of mind). Overall, worth the price for the extra help around the house. It is definitely earning its keep.

Well, for nearly 2 years, this was a good robot vacuum. Now every morning it moves about 2 feet and stops. I had a Roomba that lasted 10+ years. This is pretty disappointing.

Well, not exactly, there are still things that need to be moved so I will still need to sweep and mop sometimes. Unable to register for warranty in Uk no plug adapter think it should be provided for the money you pay also to send the parcel back I’ve got to pay another £140 this is a disgrace that with the label the site has provided

Much better than my roombas. Would happily buy again. Had for a while now and not had any issues or headaches. Roomba's were always getting stuck - This one doesn't. Ended up buying 2.

Piece of crap died in less than 6 months. does empty to the dock any more and shark support wont support it.

I contacted the company with a question about the shipping of the vacuum and they responded to me very quickly, within an hour. They answered my question and resolved my issue quickly and easily! Great company! I had no issues at all with the vacuum itself.

After each cleaning run, it would go back to the base and disconnect from the wifi after emptying the bin. No amount of resets would solve this problem. Vacuum had to be rebooted for it to reconnect to wifi. Found it unfortunate that the app would only let you schedule a whole house clean and not let you schedule a particular set of rooms if you wanted. Did a good job mapping and the no go zones were accurate.
