Bailed me out of an upgrade mess
I bought this cable because of the upcoming eclipse. I had tried to use the computer-based scope controls on my IOptron AZ Pro and found that I needed to upgrade the firmware before the computer-based ASCOM controller would work. I tried with my old cable and the upgrade failed and bricked the handset! Using the new cable, the upgrade worked, and the scope now has computer control through the new cable. Very satisfied customer!

Works perfectly
This cable works perfectly with both my CEM25 and CEM60 iOptron mounts, and avoids the outdated DB-9 connector!

I wasn’t using this for its intended purpose, but as a com cable to my solar batter bank. Worked out great. Just be sure to get the right style cable for your application. The numbers in the # ref the pin out
