WANBO X1 Android 9 Projector 1080P Supported 350 ANSI lumens WiFi Bluetooth 4D Keystone Correction (Global Version)

The media could not be loaded.  After 2 weeks of research I finally decided to buy this projector and its totally worth the price of 13990 (with discount coupon). Below I will list the Pros & Cons.PictureThough its a 720p projector video is very clear and sharpness is on point. You can play around in settings and customize according to your taste. 1080p videos on youtube looks really good. Colors are really accurate and eye pleasing. 4k on youtube is not supported though.SoundSound is good through the 3w speakers. But sound bar or home theater is recommended. For casual youtube streaming inbuilt speaker is more than enough. I connected my Jbl Flip 5 through bluetooth and it sounded amazing.I did not notice any latency issue. There are many settings for the sound alsoPlaybackHere i was little dissapointed at first. I played a 1080p file on USB drive and the quality was horrible. Video looked grainy and pixelated by the inbuilt media player. Then I decided to install MX player and it was the same. After some fiddling I changed the decoder in MX player to software and i was really surprised by the quality. It was day & night difference. So if you want play a lot of videos from USB drive I reccomend to change the video decoder from hardware to software in MX player. 4K HDR video is supported but playback is poor. Video gets stuck so its not reccomended. But some 4K movies played smoothly. May be its related to the encoding of particular video. Tried the mirror casting which worked smoothly with very minimal lag but picture clarity was lacking for my taste. Maybe there are some settings which can improve it but I didnt try as I was mostly using USB drive for media consumption. I did not try 4K playback through HDMi so cant comment on it.User interfaceThe android ui smooth and all the streaming apps are preinstalled. No lags at all but its not super smooth. But cant complain at this budget.ProjectionI set the projector at 2.5 mtr distance and got a screen size around 85 inches diagonally. If you set the projector at 3 mtr distance you will get 100+ inch. But I will not reccomend it becuase the brightness will decrease. At 80 inches the pictures are sharp, color is accurate and brightness is adequate. If you want more brightness set the projector at 2 mtr distance. The screen size will decrease to 60-65 inches but if you are ok with that its the perfect setting for this projector. I projected it on my white wall and did not find the need to buy any third party screen. If you have a clean white wall thats enough. 4D keystone works very well and I was able to set the projector to corner of my room.ConclusionsIf you want a budget android projector with excellent picture clarity and color accuracy and ok with decent enough brightness (80+ inches screen) go for it.I have attached sample Video with this review which was taken around 10 am in the morning and the sound is from the inbuilt speaker. Video looks grainy but its because of my mobile. For the naked eyes there is no garin or pixelation.

My panasonic 50inch plasma went down and decided no more spends on big tv, instead will buy a projector. Took a lot of search to figure out what to buy. Was always tempted by those best seller Made in India brands but somehow not able to gather the confidence to buy any of those. The well known brands were out of budget anyways. Then there was this brand which was always in my mind but it was a new launch, very less reviews and an imported version. I did some search for this product and brand on google and found good reviews. Finally decided to buy it and so far in 3 days of usage i think i made a right decision. Lets come to Pros and Cons.Pros-1. Compact in size, light weight and elegant design.2. Android 9, 4D keystone, wifi, bluetooth (such features rare to find in this price)3. Getting a good 100inch diagonal projection from 10ft distance. (remember it is 720p so closeups in the video are decent. Don't expect that crisp Full HD feel. Watched Miss India movie on youtube and got decent clarity) This must be the difference in 1080p native resolution and those well known brands. Though still to test Full HD channels of dth on this.4. Natural colors in video.5. Apps downloads pretty fast. Tried on 20-30mbps broadband.6. Got good bluetooth connectivity with my sony home theatre.7. Ran the projector for 6 hours in a stretch and no issues.Cons-1. I Couldn't do Keystone adjustments as i wanted so finally kept the projector straight. Though will retry since there is an upgrade and keystone functions seem revised.2. Bluetooth connectivity disrupts at times.3. This is an important one. If Bluetooth connectivity goes off may be because the connection was idle then it does not reconnect automatically. And, every time when you start projector you need to repair the bluetooth device. This is annoying. It should connect automatically on every start.4. There are lot of options in settings related to picture, advanced video etc and there is no help available for us to understand and use those options.5. Fan noise is there but i believe fans are doing their job good to get rid off heat-------update after 1 year usage----Go for it. It has stayed the same. No issues. Recently saw they have upgraded to 1080p native. My bad luck.

After using it for 4 months I say it is an excellent piece of product for an in-house theatre experience. Of course for this medium level device we need added audio devices for good experience. Remaining all good.Only area of improvement should be the remote. It's of poor quality. Didn't expect that. May be we can get Wanbo remote control app soon. Right now not available.

The media could not be loaded.  After using 4 months picture quality like the screen is gone all white even not able to find out the faces. When tried to contact customer service they never lift the call. The service is very poor. if the product gives any trouble, you are not going to get any service from wanbo.

So I ordered this projector on 2nd March and got it delivered on 3rd March, the packaging and the content of the package was well done and properly secure. The projector is placed in a box with good padding inside to keep it in place. Inside the box I received the projector, the power cable and a remote controller along with the usual documents. It is an easy to use projector with an inbuilt Android 9 which allows you to watch your OTT platform contents. It is light weight and can be placed on a DSLR camera tripod. The projector has an HDMI port, USB port, Audio/Video Port and an Audio Out port. It has an inbuilt bluetooth which allows you to connect with a bluetooth speaker to enhance your sound quality. The Wifi connects to a 2.4Ghz frequency, so make sure you are equipped with a strong wifi network.
