Q: How often should you treat the pond with this powder?

Whenever you have indications of infection whether flukes (flashing, scale loss or excessive chewing/breathing for example) or internal parasites (e.g. loss of appetite lethargy etc.) Some suggest a prophylactic application in Spring as your water warms but that is a personal preference and location dependent.

We ship thousands of these units per year, so any error rate is very, very small. Additionally, we stand behind our product and if there is an error, the customer is immediately offered a replacement or refund. We work toward the best customer experience possible. As for pricing, the product is at list price presently. We had been running a sale previously providing a lower price and will likely do so again in the future. A final point regarding value, our competitors (with very few exceptions) do not take the additional steps of maintaining registration with the US FDA and their compliance protocols as well as complying with international quality control standards such as ISO 9001-2015. You may sometimes be able to pay a cheaper price with a competitor, but you likely don't have those additional assurances as to quality.

Thanks for your question. The praziquantel is measured into the bags mechanically and is not hand measured to try to reduce weight errors. Occasionally, it may be possible that there is a light bag that gets through. If this is the case with you, we would be happy to make it right and make sure you get what you have paid for.
