I bought these as anti-vibration feet, but ended up using them to lift my linen closet cabinet off the floor in a wet bath setup — and they’re fantastic! At about 3" thick, they give the cabinet the perfect clearance and feel solid and stable. I’m actually really liking how well they’re working in this totally different application. Durable, sturdy, and a clever little solution!

Did not work - washer walked across the room as always. I added Scotch antiskid pads and that kept the washer from walking. The item DOES help the washer vibration, but I was looking to end the washer walking. The addition of the Scoth anti-skid pad to the bottom of the item accomplished both.

Worked perfectly. Just what I needed. The washer sook so violently I thought it was going to break. It was like magic. It stopped instanly. I coudn't install them without my son. He is so strong. I couldn't lift the washer for placement but he had no proplem. It takes two people to install lifts. Perfect!

I bought these to go under the legs of a table that's supporting a fairly heavy apartment-sized washing machine. I wanted to reduce the vibration and noise, especially when the spin cycle goes askew, thumps loudly, and I need to stop the machine and readjust the load in the washer. (We live in a multi-family wood frame apartment building from the 19th century. Noise travels easily between apartments.) These pads fit nicely under an old, wooden coffee table we're using underneath the portable washing machine. (We also have heavier-duty pads directly beneath the feet of the washer.) These pads had minimal odor, coming out of the package. Nothing that most people would notice, even up close. So far, after a month of use - and regular, off-balance spin cycles - these pads remain resilient. The cups are fairly deep, so I'm not sure how well they'd work directly beneath a heavy appliance like a regular washing machine. However, the foams seems to compress well, so these cups might be fine. These pads look very industrial. I wouldn't use them - as-is - beneath furniture or appliances in an area where guests might see them. Not unless I was okay with a very utilitarian look. (In a more visible location than our utility area, I might wrap them in a single layer of fabric, or even sew a small, drawstring case for each one.) These are a very good deal. Not the most soundproofing option, but - for the price, and for most purposes - they're excellent.
