Every Dog Has His Day

For kids of all agesYou really can't go wrong with Hank the cow dog. We always read to our kids before bed and the books, well sometimes as an adult it was "fake your way thru" to make it good for the kids...with Hank and his crew there was no fake to make it, we laughed as hard, got as sad and rejoiced just as loud...as the kids did. My kids rarely asked to have the same book read to them more then one time unless it was a Hank book. As each one got older, they took over as the reader to the younger ones at night and I would sit in, I always loved hearing my kids put their own voices to the characters.In this day and age of too much bad stuff for kids to worry about, Hank slows things down, makes them giggle like loons, makes them sad and reflective then picks them right back up.I loved them all so much....that as a future grandma...I decided I needed to start building a "Hank library".I wanted them in paperback, old school Granny, I want the book in my lap and hear it thud to the floor when I doze off with the kids...just like I did years ago.

We love Hank the Cowdog, my children, my grandchildren and me. My grandkids now look forward to receiving the cd several times a year. Love the audio.

My son read this series 20 years ago. Gave it to my grandkids.

We had a great cat for years, and I like Hank, but Pete is a pain and gives him a real bad time.

My youngest son loves this series. We are on a journey to get them all.
