Beautiful full color pages with lots of pictures and nice writing large high quality hardcover book with dust cover. My son LOVES this book, he is an aspiring VW bus enthusiast, and only 10 years old. His reading level is a lot higher than most kids his age and this is what he needed to quench his thirst for knowledge on the VW bus and all the types, the pictures are amazing and so bright it is like you are looking at a real bus. I would recommended this to anyone who loves a VW bus. I would make a great coffee table piece. We were not sure because we could not look inside or read a lot about what is was about but not disappointed in the turn out at all. You need this book

I got this book as an Xmas gift for my brother, who owns one of these buses. I said he's enjoying it but wished they showed more pics of buses by American collectors ( probably since he knows so many of them😉) Overall, a fine overview to an iconic vehicle.

Hubby is a VW fan and loved this book! We both drove Beetles back in the day (70's) and if I had a crystal ball, I believe I'd see a VW Camper Van in our future!

From 1949 this great book via great B&W and color pictures and great text takes the reader thru the many years the VW Bus was in production. A must for those who have a general interest and for the collector.
