EasyCareProTec Scale and Stain Remover, 8 oz. Bottle

With super hard water here in Arizona it is an endless battle to keep the white rime residue from staining our dark brown fountain. This works fairly well, I can see a difference versus untreated water but it does NOT stop all of the whitish deposits. Also, be aware this does NOT work as an algacide. You will still need to add bleach or fountain algae treatment in addition to this. I would probably buy this again since I haven't found anything else that works.

This product does nothing

I wish I had taken before and after photos. I used a whole 8oz bottle in a large outdoor fountain that was crusty white everywhere that was splashed by water. Now after a month the white is almost gone in all the areas that are constantly splashed. The areas that receive less splash are still white. I am optimistic that if I clean those areas by hand, EasyCare will keep them clear.

Keeps the water in my water feature from getting all full of algae longer than not using it.

This product does increase pH and calcium hardness for those that use testing strips.
