REEDMen's Premium Varsity Leather/wool Jacket Made in USA

I love this jacket! It just arrived today. It looks, feels, and fits great. PLUS, it's union made in the USA, so it has outstanding quality and workmanship.

We bought a jacket from a different vendor, 5 years ago. Went back to that vendor to buy another and that vendor failed us. Reed was able to provide an exact duplicate of the jacket we wanted. Snaps instead of zippers (zippers always seem to eventually fail). Leather collar that can be turned up. Knit wrists and waist that hell to adjust for some size anomalies. This jacket is intended to replace one I bought 20 years ago which is still fine except the hand pockets insides are destroyed. I would like to have had other color choices (like distressed brown leather), but black looks great. Found other jackets from other vendors but if they had leather collars, they had zippers instead of snaps. Or they did not have collars. I'm hoping this jacket will last 20-30 years.

This jacket is well made, heavy, warm, and I love it. I usually buy my jackets or coats little big, like loose fitting garments. It has room for sweater or hoodie if you want to wear heavy garment underneath.

I have a similar jacket now that I wanted to replace. Spoke with Reeds and they recommended an XL so I decided to order an XL and a XXL just to be sure. The XL was too small and the XXL was way too large in the shoulders....so neither turned out to be a good fit. Nice jackets but poor fit …….returned them and purchased a Burke's Bay XL which fit perfect. The Burke's Bay coats are cut a bit larger in each size. Quality between the two brands seemed very comparable!

Arrived yesterday (7/7). Removed it from the box. Tried it on. LOVE IT!!! I mean LOOOOVVVVEEEE IT!!! Now I have to get a new zip-up hoodie to go with it. Come on autumn, I'm sooooo ready for you now!! MANY THANKS!!!

Ordered the black/black. I'm 6'2" / 42" chest / 33" waist: The large fits me perfectly. Just a beautiful product. The people at Reed are obviously disciplined professionals who take pride in their work.**After over a year of owning this jacket I want to make a quick edit: It is worth Three times the price.

This is the best jacket that I have ever owned. Not too warm, not too cold, beautiful genuine leather arms, strong stitches, built to last. Ordered from Canada, took a bit of time to get there and had to cocer ~70$ of customs fees, but in all honesty, 1000% worth it. This replaces a jacket I had for over 20 years and it will surely last as long. Wonderful purchase. Also, perfect fit! broad shoulders, able to clip it in without any problem, good looking overall. Will wear it every day.Only downside is the price!! Holy hell did they gouge me! ended up being 330$CAD + the customs fee aforementioned, but the quality of materials makes up for it. My wallet is still feeling sore though!!

This jacket is exactly what you would expect it to be. Leather sleeves and warm wool It has a good weight to it But I will say I thought they were a little greedy with the price! Oh and delivery of this item was slower than most

Although I had to return the first one I ordered as it was a tad big on the arms for my husband the one size down fit perfect. I thought he would like the roomier fit but he preferred the snugger fit. Excellent quality.

I didn't like the puffy sleeves.I didn't like the wrists,they should have been leather with domes and leather on bottom waist instead of elastic waist.I gave coat to salvation army.I purchased a coat similiar from leather up,that cost 150.U.S. dollars 10 times better than this one.
