This plate is better than I expected! I love the large size and how thick the glass is. I think of this as more of a platter than a place. The patterns in the glass are perfect and the fish shape is fun. We have a lot of Fish Fry Parties here in Minnesota - the Land of 10,000 Lakes - and this plate makes it fun to serve fish, side salads, or snacks. We entertain a lot, so I am sure I will find other fun uses for this platter, in addition to the Fish Fries. I bought a black and white fish tea towel as well, so I like to use them together while entertaining - just something fun and different, and our guests enjoy the whimsy as well.

Magnificent. It's super light and seems to be a really great quality. Much bigger than I expected. I was aiming at a dinner plate, or salad plate even. But this is really a platter. A great way to get yourself and others to eat fruit and veggies by cutting it up and arranging it nicely on the platter (which is what I did, see my awesome photo). Just be careful when you wash it, it can easily slip out of your hands and break. And I feel that it's a steal for 20 bucks; a beautiful and fine quality glass platter.

This platter is so much fun to use when entertaining or as a trayful of seafood, cheese, fruit, etc., as a gift.

So I was looking for a platter and this is a fish dish . Very small and paper thin . When I picked up the box I thought it was empty honestly . I need something thicker and an actual platter not a food dish . Live and learn , I sent it back and got a refund !
