Arctic AIO's have been my favorite for a while now. They are the best, the numbers and tests don't lie. Even the Arctic 240mm AIO beats out some of the most popular 360mm AIO's. It's because the radiator is much thicker and the fans have much better static pressure than most because you need more pressure to push air through a thicker radiator effectively. People don't realize how good the Arctic 280mm AIO is. The Arctic 280mm AIO is better than 360mm AIO's. It's been proven time and time again, and I'm not sure why, but the Arctic 280mm AIO beats even the Arctic 360mm AIO, and for the relatively low price you're paying for this 280mm AIO, you are getting absolutely insane performance. I have 2 Arctic 280mm AIO's. One RGB and one Non-RGB. I also have a 240mm Arctic AIO, and I used to have an Arctic 360mm until I realized the 280mm is better than the 360mm. I've used the 280mm on the Ryzen 9 7900x and the Ryzen 9 7950x and the temps are awesome, even during benchtests. As long as Arctic keeps making AIO's, they will always be my first choice for a cooling solution. Also because of their Arctic MX-4 thermal paste. MX-4 is amazing, and well known as one of the best. They have Arctic MX-6 now and It's even better. I love this AIO, and the only consumer CPU on the marker that it can't handle is a 13900KS, You would need the Arctic 420mm for that, but this 280mm can and will handle a 13900K just fine, even better than an Arctic 360mm will. This 280mm is an absolute beast and a god send for anyone wanting to cool their CPU the best they can without setting up a custom loop with multiple radiators. It's also worth mentioning that their warranty program is awesome. I had a fan start rattling after 2 months once and when I got in touch with their warranty department, (it was easy and pretty fast) they just asked for my receipt and a video of it rattling. After I sent the email, I got a replacement fan in the mail 2 days later. I have been building PC's for quite some time now and Arctic is top dog. 2nd to none... and this isn't just my opinion. This is fact.

I upgraded from a Noctua NH-D15 Chroma.black to this AF II 280 ARGB. So far so good. I watched the GN reviews about the ~6c temp difference compared to the Noctua. My results were similar, possibly slightly more. This was my first AIO. I watched a YouTube video where someone mounted it on a LGA1700 platform. Not rocket science, but I preferred the video versus the manufacturer's instructions. For those wondering, both MX-5 paste and the LGA1700 mounting hardware were included. My order was in early March 2022. For the fan/pump (one wire), I used the "silent" setting curve as outlined on Arctic's website -- e.g., 0-60c at 20%, 75c at 50% and 85c at 100%. The pump/fan is quieter than the curves I had my Noctua set at. Regarding thermals, I'm using an i9-12900K. With the Noctua, I had it overclocked to 50p/39e all cores, with 1.26v on Override Mode LLC6 (MSI Z690 Edge WiFi DDR4) which resulted around 1.18v to 1.186v load while running P95 Small FFT Non-AVX and CB23 multi loops. Wattage was upwards of 230w-260w depending the test program. The Noctua was good to cool around 230w or so. There was overclocking headroom left, but I needed better cooling. After installing the 280, I'm still tinkering, but easily cleared 51p/40e at 1.28v LLC6 which is around 1.206v load. I do have other cores set higher, but "all" 8 P and E cores are set as described. Max peak single core temp was 91c; the others stayed in the low-to-mid 80's. I looped CB23/P95 Small FFT In-Place (no AVX) test for an hour each. My case is an older Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Tempered Glass. Yes, I still use an optical drive. The case does allow for this thicker radiator to work (yes, even tubes down) after removing the preinstalled hard drive cage and the front radiator insert cover. In the slim chance someone else is wondering about this case/AIO configuration, it can still accommodate one mechanic HDD. You have to buy the $9 Phanteks (ph-hddkt_01) accessory that allows for a single drive to be mounted. Very easy installation. The 2x140mm fans on the top for exhaust is a tight fit with the ODD, but it works. In my use case, with my computer being in a cubby space, I front mounted the AIO since I have minimal clearance along the top of case in this cubby space. Very happy with the purchase. Recommended.

If you're looking to an AIO, look no further. "Artic Inc" is the official seller here on Amazon, buy from them; the parts come straight from their warehouse. Yes, you pay for shipping, but the cost equals out and the seller horror stories on here are likely from third-party. This piece was immaculate when I got it 1. This cooler is quiet, almost dead-silent. The loudest thing in my rig now is the sound of my HDD read/writing 2. This cooler keeps my demanding CPU at or below 40c. Unbelievable 3. I was hesitant about the RGB at first, but they have proven beautiful; it is a soft gradient from color to color. *Very* nice and matches my motherboard 4. The quality on this cooler is substantial, you hold it and you'll feel like you're holding a PSU or something. Everything about this cooler is well made 5. Cable management is done for you through the sleeves, 6. The extra fan airflow from the pump keeps my motherboard cool; I no longer believe I can toast bread in my rig MAKE SURE IT FITS. I bought this cooler and I was going to make it fit in my case one way or another, but be prepared for the size. This AIO is an absolute unit: the fans are pre-mounted and wire-management is already done for you, you can take it apart.... but then the sleek aesthetic will be messed up (unless you don't care, then don't worry about this point). It is every bit of 2inches wide or better +/- (radiator & mounted fans) I bought this cooler based on a recommendation by a friend as I was in dire need of a better AIO for my toasty i9-10900KF.... I was pushing 80c under load! Now it barely gets past 40c! I used Artic's MX-4 paste (I know newer stuff is out, but this paste is tried and true) Yes, there was a pump seal issue a little while ago, but these AIO's have passed quality-control; look for the "QC" sticker on the box and the radiator and you're good; reason why I said buy from Artic themselves, you're getting new stock Thank you Artic, you have earned a long-time customer

A bit tedious to install but it definitely works! I was replacing an MSI 280 water-cooler that's top mounted in an MSI gungnir case so I thought it would be a relatively quick and painless install to just remove&replace ......but nope! This radiator is quite a bit thicker than the MSI 280, and this case is a mid-tower design so I was planning to install as top mount, push-style with exhaust going up and out (just like the MSI and this would've been my preferred installation due to a pretty standard case setup). Unfortunately the thicccness means it wont clear the RAM sticks in top mounting. So then it was removing the 3 front casefans to mount the cooler in the front position.... which means removing the Artic fans and flipping them over to a "pull" configuration. Which kinda makes the cabling a little messier to clean up but its fine. VERY tight fit even on the front location, i had to bend an unused rail out of the way to get it to fit but it did eventually. Pros: - cable management on this is AMAZING! there are only 2 connections to plug in, everything else is covered under the tubing shrouds and cable-tied. SO CLEAN! - wow, this thing COOLS. easy 5-10C difference in running temp from when my MSI was new. Lots of thermal capacity - it's quiet, the other case fans make more noise than this. super quiet and really liking that - it does come with Arctic Mx-5 paste and enough to do a couple of test fits before locking it down Cons: - chonky and may not work with all cases, I was persistent and got it to fit by doing some mods and removing/reinstalling everything that was in the way so if youre using a tight case just be aware. - for some reason the RGB wasnt working with the MSI Mystic Light LED controller. Not a big deal to me so i just plugged it into the board 'rainbow' header but this might be a prob for some folks who want to coord everything - I do wish the pump had some lighting, it's got the fan going on it but a bit of lighting wouldve been nice there since there's a lot going on. - I wish the instructions were a little more clear on some things the washers, etc. It's very hard to tell which items they're indicating in the drawings and only one bag of screws was labeled as "AMD" so that was confusing and time consuming.

First things first: *This includes everything required for LGA1700, including the new thinner backplate* Ive seen reviews mentioning that they needed the LGA1700 mounting kit, but mine included everything. They must have received old stock, mine was the Rev 3. That said, installation is a bit tricky. It requires use of stickers on the motherboard mounting holes, which makes installation with the motherboard in the case a no go (unless you have a large opening in the back of the case). Other than that, the online instructions are very easy to follow along, total install time including completely tearing down my rig to remove the motherboard was about 40 minutes. Most of that was dealing with the rats nest of wiring that I had to deal with to remove the top fans to make room for the rad. Performance is spectacular. With a 13600k running Cinebench R23 and 230-240 max wattage during testing, temps never went higher than 82 degrees. This is a 12 degree drop under similar conditions with my old Peerless Assassin 120. Highly recommend this cooler!

The performance is excellent, though the fit for certain motherboards is problematic. Do some research on your specific motherboard first. Mine just died after 3 years (pump or fan bearing).

I bought this Liquid Freezer II 280 A-RGB to pair with a new 5900x because of good reviews and couldn’t be more disappointed. After installing the water block and radiator I excitedly fired up my PC and immediately saw in windows that temperatures were around 60C with light load and only one core intermittently clocking up and the others sleeping. I tried running a more intensive load on all cores and I briefly saw everything go to max in ryzen master before all cores clocking down to 700MHz. Fans are at 100% and the little vrm fan is moving. RPM reported on the CPU fan is over 2k rpm so I’m guessing that means the pump is working. From there I reinstalled the block, cleaning both the cpu and water block with isopropyl alcohol. I did note that there was good coverage of the thermal paste on the heatspreader the first time, but tried again anyway. Started up the PC again… same behavior. Then I disassembled more of the mounting kit and made sure everything was tight, again, same behavior. At that point I went to Arctic’s webpage for support. It warned that it’d be 9 days before a reply! I filed a ticket anyway, though just started an exchange the next day. Today I received the replacement and it has the same issue. Repasted, same issue. Jokes on me I guess Arctic made me run through an entire medium sized retail tube of mx-5 trying different things on these two coolers. Back to an undersized air cooler for the moment I guess. No reply from the original case so I’m thinking Arctic wasn’t kidding about that 9 days thing. PS - it can fit in the top mount of a Corsair 5000d case with an MSI x570 gaming plus motherboard. VRM heat sink clearance is tight and it overhangs the RAM so whether this big radiator fits will be motherboard dependent.

I bought this to replace my MSI 280R that failed within months. This is my first Arctic freeze product, and heard a lot of great things about them online. Previously I’ve only ever used Corsair AIOs. I had gotten the MSI to match my setup. The setup was very easy. The fan RGB connections are all daisy chained and ran up to the pump through the shielding. This makes it really easy to connect straight to your header. As for the PWM, they are also all daisy chained and connect directly to your fan headers, or a fan unit if you have one. I paired this with the thermalrite LGA1700 contact plate, and Corsair XTM70 extreme paste. Safe to say my temps have been ICE cold. I have a 13700k, and I haven’t seen it go over 70 in any game, in fact it’s almost ways below 64. During stress tests with 3D mark I haven’t seen it go over 80 during the CPU tests. It even improved my benchmark scores. Fantastic product!

So I purchased this cooler and have got this today after 2 days of placing the order via "2 day delivery" by paying a nominal fee of 80rs. Now the cooler is great it works as intended and also has beautiful colors, made my computer pretty with RGB, moreover temps were improved drastically, I'd definitely recommend it. Now comes the bad part, I don't know but seller has sent me this cooler in one of the worst possible packing, main box had tearing here and there, there were scratches too, also the main cooler box inside was in very bad condition, specifically at the corners, don't know whether this is a used product, but so far has been working well as it should delivery lower temps, would recommend seller to please work on a bit for better packing. Improvisation needed for customer service. Also there's no LGA1700 kit included to install the cooler on 12th gen CPUs, as if seller didn't know that 12th gen processors exist, very poorly done by the seller. Had to purchase mounting kit separately for 769rs. Cooler is 5 stars, but 2 stars less due to packing, because it is really that worse. Would think twice now before making a purchase from them (seller) Update (11/03/2022) : This item is defective, one fan stops spinning during heavy workload, at 100% cpu usage. Update 2 (15/03/2022) : I got the replacement, so far it's working flawlessly, I would update if any issue arises once again. (Changed review from 3 to 5 stars.) Thank you.

Quedo a la perfección en mi gabinete, la luz rgb funciona de maravilla, y me ayudo a disminuir la temperatura de mi procesador, es un excelente producto por el precio. Sin duda alguna lo recomiendo.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Although it handles AIO pump in a strange way for simplification. I would have preferred two connectors, i.e. 1 to AIO pump header, 1 to CPU_fan header. Otherwise it waorks very well.

I've had two of these and they are very good coolers. Temps are great. They look great. Reasonably easy to install. My minor complaint is that they aren't super quiet. My old noctua nh14 was less noisy in idle, but then again that gave me higher temps so I guess it's a trade off.

Der Kühler ist absolut unhörbar, außer bei höchster Lüfterdrehzahl, die auch unter Last bislang nie notwendig war. Das A-RGB der Lüfter ist einzeln adressierbar und kann auch via iCUE über das MSI Mainboard verwendet werden (und sehen damit hammer aus). Insgesamt ist der Kühler recht dick und hätte damit fast nicht in mein Gehäuse gepasst. Es geht grade so, da mein RAM nicht allzo hoch ist. Der Kühlkörper des Arcit Coolers berührt einen der Kühlkörper des MSI Mainboards, alles passt aber grade so auf einen halben Millimeter zusammen. Der Preis ist unschlagbar im Vergleich mit allen AIOs und macht sogar vergleichbaren Luftkühlern Konkurrenz. The cooler is almost inaudible in regular use cases. It can be heard on highest fan speed but this so far never occurred for me in practice. The RGB of the fans is independently addressable and also works with iCUE using the MSI Mainboard (and therefore looks incredibly good). The radiator itself is rather thick and almost didn't fit into the case. Since my RAM is low profile the only real space issue I had was the cooler coming in contact with a heatsink of the Mainboard but everything fits by .5 millimeters. (~1/50 inch) Looking at the price its unbeatable in comparison with competing AIOs and even air coolers operating in the same regime.
