How tall are the horses? Trying to get some extra horses but don't know what size to get.

The typical Schleich horse is about 4" to 4.5" tall. They do also make ponies. Schleich brand can be pricey but they also carried at stores like tractor supply, agway, think even a few choices at Barnes and noble, directly thru schliech website and of course Amazon 😊

This particular set, has the country of origin as Germany. You'll find that info at the very bottom of the product page. It's a beautiful set, but we just gave it our granddaughter and haven't gotten her feedback yet:).

What parts need to be assembled?

The whole house and barn needs assembled. Even the people but the people arent hard. The house was the hardest part but it wasnt too bad in my opinion .
