Serious Blade
Bought a SkilSaw contractor saw (that I like a lot) that came with the worst blade I have ever used. I had always used combination, thin kerf blades and thought they were OK. At the suggestion of a YouTuber I thought I would give a dedicated ripping blade a try, Huge difference. Nice, smooth, straight cut. It has a fairly large kerf but the quality of the cut is worth it. It turned the SkilSaw into a super useful tool.

Another great saw blade by Freud.
It also comes with that new circular saw blade smell, which is pretty nice.

Great blade for the money
I used this blade to rip 6/4 white oak. And while it certainly cut better then a multi-purpose blade it did struggle some ripping the boards with my dewalt contractor saw, which it’s possible just didn’t have the HP for those rips. The cuts were overall good, but I had to do a fair amount of cleaning up to get them ready for glueing up a panel. No issues whatsoever with ply wood, and 4/4 boards. Overall I’m happy with the purchase and I was able to get what I needed done with a little extra effort but if ripping thick hardwood stock to glue up panels is what you are after I’d look into a higher quality ripping blade. Should be pointed out that I am somewhat new to wood working so take my review with a grain of salt.

FTG
It is just what I wanted but it took months to find it.I was looking for a "flat top grind" blade but only a few days ago I found the search term is "FTG". It would be nice if Amazon had the full phrase in their search terms.

Razor clean glue line rips for joining with 8" Full Kerf Blade
I couldn't believe a blade would make this much difference. I bought this blade with the hope in getting cleaner and more accurate glue line rips. I use my table saw to do joining since I don't have a jointer. I installed the blade and used a long level between the board and fence for indexing. When I used this method with my factory Dewalt blade and I always had to check for straight an 90 degree angle. Also tear out was too much for my standards. Often I needed to redo. Not so with this blade. When your blade angle and table top is correct you'll be hard pressed to tell the join was done with a table saw and this blade. Tear out is pretty much non-existent too.Spend the few extra bucks instead of getting the HD red blades.

Above the standard
This is the second Freud LM72R010 10-Inch 24 Tooth FTG Ripping Saw Blade I have purchased. The last one was doing a great job and I would still be using it except for something in the wood I was ripping (piece of metal or stone). This blade cuts fast and very smooth, very clean cuts.Good blade for a woodworker to have for ripping, also cuts nice 1/8" grooves.

Rips Hardwood
I have this paired with my old Craftsmen 113. I cut through 4/4 white oak, hard maple, walnut - no problem. Felt much safer than the combination blade; it used to burn wood quite badly. I did rip some 8/4 purple heart and that wasn't a problem either! The smoothness of cut isn't perfect so it could take some light sanding or a plane to make it glue-ready.

Big Boy Saw Blade
Bought this specifically because of the blade profile (FTG) Flat Top Grind. Needed that for some DIY projects. This is a BIG BLADE. The teeth are big, the blade is thick and heavy. I struggled at first to install it on my Mitre saw. It works like a dream, I was using it on cedar. Makes an unbelievable amount of sawdust. That is not entirely caused by the blade, but something to keep in mind, you will be covered with dust from a single cut with this blade if you do not have a dust collection system.

Heavy Duty
Great blade at a great price! Quality of cut is fantastic, especially for the money. Carbide is huge and full1/8 kerf. Will test the power on a jobsite saw cutting thick hardwood like oak, its a thick heavy blade. Slow your rate of feed to compensate and keep rpm high, 3 inch material won't be an issue. One of my carbide is chipped after about 200 linear feat of oak, but not sure if the blade arrived that way. Quality of cut is still absolutely acceptable, but it loses 1 star. Contacted Freud about warranty replacement.

Great blade but slightly used??
I have not put this blade in my table saw yet, and when I do, I will review. I am writing this now because it appears that this blade has been used. The carbide teeth seem fine but the face of the blade has considerable machine marks. I don't know if this is standard practice but it's a little dissapointing if this is a refurbished blade and I wasn't made aware at purchase.

Nice flat top cuts, have to keep the blade clean.
After doing about 20 cuts, not much if you are in a project, the blade started burning and causing my smoke alarm to go off.No visible smoke, but definitely need to watch for things getting caught on the cutting blades as anything that sticks to the sides will really slow down and heat up the blade. I only have the 8.25" dewalt table saw to use this in, probably no problem in the larger more hp model.
