Battery light been flashing since I plugged in 3hours ago. Is that's normal? This my first time using it

All 3 lights are on when fully charged. You will see it move down in lights as the battery wears. Did it come with a charge before you used it and this is first charge? If so, give it longer time. If not, it could just need a good charge from no use. Since it recognized it's getting a charge it just may need more time. I not charged aftee 24 hours I would consider it a bad unit. I have had mine for about 6 month and really like it but I have grabbed it after my husband had only plugged it in 2-3 hour before and it ran out of battery fast. It takes more than they say, in my opinion for a full charge.
