Pathfinder Player Companion: Blood of the Beast

Really loved reading this little guide. It's definitely a welcome addition to my RPG lore and rules collection. I enjoyed reading up on the culture and abilities, many alternatives to the standards, of these bestial races. As others have noted, the kitsune segment is of particular mention, although the catfolk entries are interesting and unique as well. I honestly enjoyed the entire read for being something different and unique.As with all Pathfinder RPG print offerings, I enjoyed the artwork featured amongst the pages. Very colorful and well presented material, but also very concise and much shorter in length than the larger, more expensive tomes.The length, I feel, is just right for something like this as it is more of a targeted supplement than a fully fledged, wide ranging compendium. For something that focuses on some of my favored and uncommon races you don't typically see represented in RPGs, this was an instant buy for me and will provide our gaming table with extra and enriched player character and NPC variety going forward. We would like to see more of its kind featured in the future.My only complaint is Amazon chose to ship it in a bubble mailer which led to it getting bent and creased in the mail. A shame.

Solid flavor and options throughout; Archetypes, Traits, Feats, and Spells. It's all good.

This has a lot of handy info in it, only downside wason the map on the inside cover page, it was labeled where the races were from but didn't lable the regiongs/locations name. Everything else was good!

It's quite small and short, but it does come with some pretty sweet tools for playing the beastial races. The Kitsune bits are particularly hilarious.
