It's comforting to know that its extreme slipperiness is without risky coatings. The lid is an interference-fit, with three pressure-relief holes, which gives it a positive feel. The whole things oozes quality. We have used it twice, two different people, and both love it. It gets hot on our induction hob very quickly and high up the sides quickly too. Expensive, but good, my wife had a stainless make from a famous french make with a "lifetime guarantee" 3 years ago, the teflon peeled off - no receipt no warranty - this looks to be far better

Great for cooking curries

Pan looks and feels great, have used it a couple of times after seasoning it! My only concern is the price point, I’m no expert but £130 with no lid seems excessive to me! Time and reliability will tell I am sure but for now it’s a nice pan, but for the main reason of moving away from coatings, I think price is a bit steep!

I had high hopes for the HexClad 30cm Hybrid Wok based on the hype and premium price tag, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. Despite following all care instructions, everything I cooked stuck badly—even basic stir-fries and eggs. The pan looks brand new, with no residue on the base of the pan and there is no reason for food to stick, I cooked on a lower heat as requested and everything was sticking! I was going to buy a set, which was a high ticket price but please I tried this one first as I would have wasted so much money I expected a non-stick or at least easy-release performance, but this wok behaves more like an uncoated stainless steel pan. Cleanup was a hassle, and the stuck-on food made cooking stressful rather than enjoyable. For the price, I expected far better performance. Sadly, this wok is not fit for purpose in my kitchen and has been relegated to the back of the cupboard. I can’t recommend it, especially when there are much better-performing options at a fraction of the cost. Would not recommend to anyone!

I had this on my basket for quite a long time before deciding to finally purchase it. Received a lot of compliments from friends every time I used it. As it is non-stick, cooking is very easy and cleaning it after use is a breeze. The wok is quite heavy which equates durability. The size is perfect for cooking big batches noodles or fried rice. The flat surface also makes it great for frying meat or fish unlike other wok.
