Actually yummy protein bars
I do intermittent and sometimes longer fasting, and I will not lie, I impulse bought these deep into a fast because they looked really good to my hungry eyes. I am so glad I did. These are delicious. The little crispies add a nice texture and crunch akin to a candy bar, the filling, in most flavors, adds some much needed moisture (though of course there is not nearly as much as the pictures show) and the bar itself doesn't have that chewy, dense texture that most protein bars have. Of course, it's still a protein bar so it's not going to beat something like a Twix in a blind taste test, but when I'm looking for something sweet in my eating window, I find myself reaching for these instead of the cookies or candy bars in my pantry. I let myself eat what I want in my eating window, so I could very well just go for the candy bar, but these satisfy my sweet tooth with the bonus of protein, fiber, and no guilt. All of the flavors are good, but they vary in strength of flavor and moisture, so I thought I'd talk about them individually.Cookie Butter: The most anticipated flavor for me, so the first one I tried. The cookie butter flavor isn't very strong, but it's there if you're looking for it. If you gave this to me blindfolded and asked me to guess the flavor, I don't know if I could. A little more on the crumbly and dry side.Banoffe: Second most anticipated flavor, and the flavor itself was great, not too artificial tasting and strong. Unfortunately, it was by far the driest of the flavors. The filling seemed nonexistent. If you have some water nearby to compensate though, it's tasty.Brownie: Unexpectedly, I think this one is my favorite. It's a nice middle ground for moisture, and it satisfies that gooey chewy brownie craving well.Cookies and Cream: I had this one at the same time as the brownie flavor the first time, and it's comparable in taste and moisture. Classic and yummy.Hazelnut: Flavor is good and light, but it's a little dry. Not so much that I'd recommend a drink on hand, but noticeably so.Caramel: Delicious, and by far the most moist one, almost surprisingly so. The caramel filling seems to be more plentiful than the other bars, and this one seemed a bit softer. All of the bars I got had the same expiration date, so I don't think it was a matter of freshness. Overall though, I freaking love these bars and am ordering another box asap.

Protein bar
I got these bars when they were on sale and I was not disappointed. They were delicious! I had it as a meal replacement or even as a little dessert. That being said they are a little pricey so I wouldn’t get them again until they’re on sale.

Flavor is incredibly overrated. Product does what it should.
Firstly, I’ve been hearing about this product everywhere through instagram influencers, youtube, targeted ads, etc. There is SO much hype for this product and it was so underwhelming. I expected a product that was an enjoyable experience to eat, but instead was incredibly mediocre. Here’s why:The size: smaller than most bars with three layers. inside is one protein layer with absolutely zero taste that is chalky (not AS chalky as No Cow bars, but definitely as close) with some crispies (i appreciate the texture) then a VERY THIN caramel-ish flavor. all are dipped in what is essentially cocoa powder and water.Flavor: there are 6 flavors in this box. the only one that remotely tastes like anything is the chocolate brownie, and caramel, the rest have very little flavor differences. for example, banoffee is so slight if you don’t have heightened senses you won’t taste it. for cookie butter or hazelnut you just flat out taste no difference. it’s just bland.Filling power: here is where the bar differs and I give it the 3/4 star rating. the bar DOES have staying power which i fail to find in most vegan AND non-vegan bars. even half a bar can keep me satisfied for close 1.5 hours, while a full can keep me for 2.5. additionally, my tummy didn’t hurt which is great!maybe i got a bad batch, maybe i should try other flavors, but with other bars on the market, i am not reordering these anytime soon.
