It appears to be a reductive process that chemically removes or alters the glass itself. I glop it on over the stencil, leave it for 3 to 5 minutes then rinse it off. I have found that gives the best results. **Q: How many projects can you do with 3 oz.?** A: I am sorry, but I did not use this for etching projects.
