I have EDS, so I have extra collagen in my entire body. While that may sound nice thanks to lack of wrinkles, it isn’t so nice when it comes to my joints. I’m hypermobile, and so for a long time I would do party tricks by popping joints out of socket. This caused major wear on specific joints; I also just have overall crappy joints due to the extra collagen, but a few are especially bad. I loved doing yoga with my mom as a kid, and when my doctor recommended I do yoga to see if it helps with my joint stability, I was all for it. Even if it didn’t do much for my joints, I had a nice excuse to get a yoga mat and other supplies. I had a different mat picked out originally, but then I saw this one and thought “oh my gosh this perfect”. Added it to my cart and bought it without a second thought. It took about a week for it to arrive, and I was so excited when I opened it up!! I’ve used it daily the last few days, and I am in love with it. The texture is the perfect amount of grip without feeling sticky like some other mats, and the stretches and poses on it are wonderful. The poses/stretches are very detailed and easy to replicate, and all the poses are labeled, which was wonderful for me to relearn the names as I haven’t done yoga in years. If you’re thinking about getting a yoga mat, get this one!! On top of just the mat being completely wonderful, it is actually helping with my joints!! It’s obviously not a miracle for me as I will have a life long disorder, but it definitely helping with the pain and with my joints not subluxing and dislocating as much, and it’s only been a few days!!

LOVE this mat!! As a beginner, the simple illustrations are so helpful and when I get through my practice, is empowering! Then, the bonus is on the other side—individual area workouts. And then, the carrying ribbon. This is the whole package! Buy it now!!

I really like this mat. There are stretching images on one side and yoga images on the other. For almost all of them I can tell exactly what to do. For a few of them, it is hard to tell but I can look it up for clarity. I was getting in a rut with the same stretches and a very few yoga poses that I could remember and this really helps me diversity my workout. I also really like the fact that it's thick as I have concrete floors in my place and this is very nice. It's good quality as well. I highly recommend it.

So I really like this Matt the only thing is is when I first got it had a horrible smell. And then also anytime that it heats up whatever type of material they make it out of tends to melt off and stick to itself so you can’t leave it in your car And you can’t do anything outside in the heat or in the sun because then it’ll start melting on you. Other than that, it’s a really good mat for doing yoga and the fact that it has all the positions on. It makes it a lot easier to learn the yoga positions properly..

This is a good comfortable mat that takes the guesswork out of using it. Not too thick not too thin. Just right.

I am in love with this mat! As a yoga instructor this just what I needed. I have needed a new yoga mat for a while but it was hard picking a different one that what I have. I got the larger one because some poses require more room and I'm a curvy girl. I love that the images have the English and Sanskrit names of the poses. Also if I ever have to teach a yoga class last minute I can just use this mat for inspiration. It came with the strap as advertised which is a great bonus. I also love that there are different stretches on both sides. I love the different colors. I will add a pick of the back later. About to use the mat for the first time so I'm itching to start my session. I will more than likely buy the black one also so I can have one for at home and another strictly for teaching. For the price I feel like this is a steal!

Yoga mat is PERFECT. It is the perfect length for me as I am very tall. It is slip resistant and the thickness is good. It has a sort of memory foam. The strap is adjustable. The pictures for the poses and stretches are clear and easy to follow.

The mat is quite thick and it is oversized, permitting comfortable movement. I enjoy the added illustrations on the mat. Everything arrived on time and in good condition.
