I almost didn't get this book because of the other reviews. I got it anyhow cause Megadeth's the s***. I just got it a a couple days ago. I've only gone through the first song.(I've got other things that need practicing.) However, it appears that a number of other reviews were written in haste as well. There are some inaccuracies, it is true. HOWEVER, they are minor. The one I remember seeing in Holy Wars, was a spot where it suggested playing 12 on low E, when I as the player know that it would be more effiecient and easier for that note to be played at 7 on A. I imagine I'll find more errors throughout the book, but I also think I'll be able to correct them based on the given education from surrounding riffs and my own skill. Hopefully, if you're buying this to actually learn or learn from the songs, you're at a skill level to do the same. Good buy. Inaccuracies, but very helpful.

Great note for note, for guitar arrangement. Although there are certain differences from the actual songs.

Mistakes in the tab and notation happen often. But they give you enough to work with? (pin drops) But working out the many wrinkles makes for great technical and otherwise improvement. Just remember to keep open to creating a maj7 arpeggio of the m7th of a 5th diad thats not there and parallel maj/ min overkill. Always fun and ALWAYS "INTERESTING". Thanks Marty!!!!

Pretty accurate. Good stuff. Great to relearn old songs and build up these old fingers.

Good quality second hand music book. It arrived in great condition and even had a pick in between the pages which I thought was a funny surprise ( I think the last owner accidentley left it there). This was the first second hand book I have bought off the internet and I would reccommend it and I will do it again. The description of the book lived up to its expectations.

Good for eyeballing and quickly recognising structure, harmony, and to some extent melody of Dave’s Metal Masterpiece. However, full of inaccuracies in fingerings, specially guitar solos, making it a challenging (but not impossible) decryption for any Musician with some experience.

the book was a bit worn out but none the less it was completely readable which is what matters most! One hell of an album to play! A must for any metal head guitarist looking to try out his skills to an intermediate level.

i mainly got this book because hangar 18 is my #1 favorite song of all time and i wanted to learn the guitar really badly. this was the best way to learn the song by far. i also learned some of the other songs on the album. this book really helps, but there are some noticeable mistakes. and its obvious that the guy who transcribed it knew exactly what he was doing. but the people who put it in this form have errors w/ copy&pasting, sometimes having a complex riff perfect except one note, putting riffs in the wrong spot, etc. i read the book for megadeths greatest hits which tries to transcribe the guitars and bass and drums and singing for some of these songs and the transcriptions are far worse. it would be hard to find something perfect, but im sure this is as close as it gets. if you like megadeth and you play guitar, get it.

De las peores transcripciónes que he visto. Está plagada de errores. Cualquier versión de internet es mejor que esto. No gasten dinero en esta basura.
