Q: The x-frame seems to be stuck. unable to move the frame apart. how to assemble this stand? thanks

Normally, you can directly open frame "a" to a suitable angle. If it can't be pulled apart, there is a hole can be pull outwards in the middle of the X-shaped bracket, you may try to pull the knob outwards to select the appropriate hole then release the knob so that the pin goes through the selected hole. If you can not solve it, please ask the seller, I will show you the pics instruction which will be more intuitive and heplful.
