They work too well. Read review with caution
I have 3 traps and each one filled up with100s of flies in just a few days. I highly recommend these as being the most efficient fly catcher formula ever! A few words of caution: This could gross you out. If you get queasy, stop here and don’t do what I did. DON’T ADD MORE WATER!! (to get more use out of it!!) If you want to know what happened, read on. As the water evaporated (as it does in the desert southwest) I was adding water weekly when it dropped below the fill line, because I’m cheap. In fact I did this for a month and the traps filled up with flies to the top to the point where there wasn’t room for more flies to get in there. The formula is so strong that diluting it did nothing to make it less of an attractant. And by then it started to get stinky so you want to hang them away from your house/porch patio. I realized i should’ve stopped adding water at least 2 weeks earlier, too late. Now I waited for the remaining water to evaporate, so I could dump it out. Where/how do you dump a million dead flies x 3? While I waited, fly larvae started appearing, and they weren’t dying as they normally would from drowning like the flies, because the water had evaporated below them. It was gross! I was afraid they were going to crawl out as it was filled to the brim with a million flies and they were right next to the openings on the trap cover. I didn’t know what to do except pour bleach in there and hope it killed them. It did, but took quite a few days. When the traps were dry enough to dump these globs of flies and larvae into my garbage can, 6 days before the next pick up, the smell was horrendous. Putrid. Nauseating. I had to Move my garbage can as far away from the house as possible. And the amazing thing is, the now empty traps were STILL attracting flies, even after I tried to rinse them out. Couldn’t get all the fly residue out. A few weeks later, I finally tackled that job and washed them out, outside with soap, hot water and bleach. And that was gross. And for the last month the traps have been sitting empty and clean on my back porch as I haven’t gotten over the trauma to use my refills and go for round 2. IN CONCLUSION the refills are not expensive. Don’t be cheap, frugal or stupid to try to get more than your money’s worth out of these traps by adding water to extend their purpose. They work great! Best fly catchers ever. I hope to start using mine again soon. If only they had these for mosquitoes!! Luckily I don’t have pics to share 😁

A Must-Have Refill That Keeps the Outdoor Fly Population Under Control!
After buying the original RESCUE! Reusable Fly Trap and testing it out for a couple of weeks, I quickly realized I was going to need to stock up on refills because the trap worked so incredibly well. With a cat, dog, and chickens running around our property, flies are an ongoing battle, but these trap refills have made a massive difference. We are seeing far fewer flies buzzing around our outdoor spaces and house, and significantly more trapped inside where they belong. I chose the 6-pack for this purchase as it clearly offered the most cost-effective value. Using these refills couldn't be simpler or more straightforward. All you have to do is cut open the pouch, dump the contents directly into your reusable trap container, and fill it up with water. The attractant activates quickly, and the trap starts catching flies almost immediately. Just be mindful that there is a noticeable smell associated with the bait once it gets to work, so you will definitely want to hang the trap a bit away from your primary outdoor patio or seating areas. To make things even easier, I use Subscribe & Save to get an extra discount and ensure we never run out during fly season. If you have livestock, pets, or just heavy fly activity, I definitely recommend picking these up!

Highly recommend and will buy again!
These fly refill pouches work great! Just put them in the container and add water. Super easy and helps keep the fly population very low. The smell is not super strong, but the flies love it and once they get into the container there is no getting out! Highly recommend and will buy again!

The Best Fly Repellant
OMG!!!! This product is the best! My neighbor has chickens and as you can imagine, they draw flies! This product works wonders, and it allowed me to host people at my home without the nuisance of having flies flying all around us. I will definitely keep this on stock.

It worked
I decided to purchase a fly trap solution from Amazon, but after reading numerous reviews about the bad smell and the hassle of cleaning for reuse, I ended up creating my own trap instead. Here’s my experience with both the product and my DIY solution. DIY Trap Construction: To make my trap, I cut the top off an apple juice bottle, flipped it upside down, and placed it inside the bottle. I sealed the edges with tape and used a bit of tape around the opening to ensure the hole wasn't too large. This method worked surprisingly well. Effectiveness of the Fly Trap Solution: I used the purchased fly trap solution in my DIY container. While it did catch some flies, I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t attract as many as I expected. However, it performed adequately, and I was relieved to find that the solution didn't smell as bad as other reviewers had mentioned. Conclusion: Overall, I would recommend the fly trap solution for its effectiveness, but I believe you can easily create a container at home that works just as well. Given my experience, I wouldn't suggest spending money on the pre-made traps; a DIY approach is simpler and more effective for my needs.

Fantastic product
It really attracts the flies. I never knew there were so many in my yard. It doesn’t smell very nice but I placed it away from areas where people congregate.
