Brilliant Tool – Makes Inspections So Much Easier
The Ferret Plus is an outstanding inspection camera. It’s compact, easy to use, and perfect for getting into tight or awkward spaces where you simply can’t see otherwise. The wireless connection works smoothly, and the video quality is excellent — clear 720p streaming with the option to save in 1080p onboard. Battery life is great, and it recharges quickly. I’ve already used it for checking behind walls, inside vents, and under floorboards — it’s been a real time-saver. The build feels solid and professional, and the WiFi connection has been stable every time. A brilliant piece of kit for electrical work, HVAC checks, or home maintenance. Worth every penny.

Brilliant. Easy mobile view of impossible to see places
Small and with detachable bendy arm, I manoeuvred this into ceiling light holes to spy out hidden audio cables. Set up is a cinch. Picture is crystal clear. Image options are a wow. It comes with a short rods but they have standard screw fittings and adaptors to attach your own pull-rod kit. This is a complete and perfect solution to finding hidden electrics, well done Ferret! Next day delivery.

Nice to see under the floor
Good product, works well. Bit fiddly to view the camera as it lags sometimes

Complete junk
First impression is that it's pretty decently built, a quality tool. Then you download the app - and it's instantly clear it's utter rubbish. It's like going back to the 2000s, composed of multiple badly scaled images to fit a screen size/resolution they didn't test on. And then it didn't work anyway - just beeping at me when I try to start live view or take a photo, with no image shown or recorded. Even if it did work, this thing is chunky, there's not many jobs it would actually be useful for in my opinion - certainly no good for the cable I was trying to fish today. And it doesn't even come with any rods or anything, those pictured are all 'sold separately', for the price you'd really think it'd be a big kit. I also bought a cheap 'endoscope' style (many similar variants on Amazon) - literally £11 - and it's so much better. Not better value, just all round better, despite costing about 1/20th the price of the Ferret: no ad hoc WiFi to faff around with, no silly permissions required (access all my photos, record my microphone? I just want to see the live image), it actually *works* (!), so much smaller (roughly 5p vs £2+20p on side) and comes with 5m semi-rigid cable and similar end accessories (mirror, magnet, hook, etc.). Much cheaper, *and* much better! Save your money, save your time, just get one of the slim no-brand cheapy ones. Or for this price you could get an articulating one - cable included *and* much more functional than this rubbish.

Ferret Lite has a Wireless Range of 15m
I thought the Ferret Lite would meet my needs, but while it is good in most regards, I wish I had paid the extra for the Pro. Positives: Easy to set up and use. Connects to the Super Rod kit without issue. Decent image when the autofocus works Negatives: Poor wireless range. Its fine with no obstructions but once you start using this in awkward locations where walls/floors can block the signal it struggles. The listing here claims a wireless range of up to 40m for the ferret lite - this is false. The box actually states a wireless range of up to 15m. In practice its a lot less when walls etc are involved. If the Ferret Pro actually has a range of 40m as is claimed here it would give it a big advantage. The other draw back with the lite is the lack of manual focus adjustment. The autofocus doesn't always work well.
