Q: Is this jacket true to size? Or should I go up a size?

I just order an XL, I'm so disappointed I'm 5'3" size 12-14 in womens cloth, the jacket is huge on me..like I can take one side and pull the other over 6 inches, and the wrists when buttoned i can have my hands in a fist and not touch the sides. I was beyond sad I have been so excited and this has been on my wishlist to have it be this big, I could wear a t shirt, long sleeve, sweatshirt and a coat and still have space but the length is super good like they said for sitting down. Not sure it would cover the butt of a 6' tall person probably just fit normal. I'm made because everyone said true to size or it fit a little small, but I have very broad shoulders and big biceps. So I will say if you have big arms and you want to wear a sweatshirt under it get your size, but be aware the wrist holes might be way to big.

This is a light-medium weight shirt jacket.

Q: Is there flannel lining in the sleeves as well as the body of the jacket?

The sleeves are not lined with flannel like the body, the sleeves are lined with nylon.

Q: How water resistant is this?

It"s not water resistant at all, though it may look like bring waxed, ist's not. Though it is of good quality and I love this jacket.
