A lifesaver for a busy mum
As a mother of a child with a food allergy, this book has been an absolute game-changer for our family. It not only provided us with a wealth of healthy organic recipes, but it also offered a solution to our child's dietary needs, making mealtime a joyous experience once again. We discovered plenty of recipes that were safe for our child, the clear labeling and guidance on potential allergens made it easy for us to select recipes without worrying about compromising our son's health.I also shared this book with my mother so that she can have a wide selection of healthy meals to prepare when she takes care of our boy.Planning for our child’meals is now a stress-free experience. If you have a child with dietary restrictions, consider getting this guide as it can be a practical and precious resource. It also contains an easy meal plan so you can learn how to give your kid healthy eating habits, and make sure his or her nutritional needs are met.I highly recommend investing a couple more bucks in the color version to appreciate the images and the beautiful colorful pages.

Black and white, repeats recipes, not comprehensive
I was hoping this book would fit the description, a meal plan to introduce baby to foods for all age levels. The beginning says under 6m should only be breast milk, then the meal plan for 4-6m shows random multiple ingredient meals. Many of the single purées are repeats with different cooking instructions, some are wrong (ex. Banana purée is oats and milk only). Not all recipes have cooking times, it kind of seems like a giant copy and paste gone wrong. I’m just disappointed it has such high reviews, this wasn’t even spell checked.

Healthy Food Healthy Baby -Recipe Book
The New Organic Baby Food Cookbook: A Natural Way to Raise Happy Independent Eaters, is a wonderful cookbook to use when trying to get your baby started on the right foot nutritionally. The recipes are fun and simple, some with as little as 3 ingredients. If you are a breastfeeding mom, you can incorporate breastmilk or formula easily into the recipe. The best part of the book for me, is that it is transitional, the recipes start at just a few months and go all the way up to 24 months and, of course, beyond.

Start your babies off right
The author opens the book by looking at why organic baby food is the best choice to feed little ones. The pros and ons are weighed and ultimately it is decided that homemade organic is the way to go. Then we get into the recipes and there are around 200 of them. I will say not all are baby food. Some recipes are finger foods, like muffins or quesadillas that work more for toddlers are more grown kids. So, i think these foods would work for all the family members. You just obviously would not have to puree all portions.
