Zhiyun Crane M3 Gimbal 3-Axis Handheld Stabilizer All in One Design for Mirrorless Cameras,Smartphone,Action Cameras(Crane M2 Upgrade Version 2021)

I was looking for a lightweight gimbal that can carry my camera, especially for my set up, a7M3 with FE 28-60mm F4-5.6. Honesty, I have tried other professional stabilizers but ended up returning them because of their weight. So, when I saw they claims this gimbal only weighed 700g, I gave it a chance. Weight: 693g/1.5lbs (gimbal) and 787g/1.7lbs (gimbal + quick release plate+ tripod). Compared with other professional gimbals that can easily go over 1400g/3lbs without battery & accessory, crane M3 feels so light, no to mention crane M3 has a built-in LED light and battery. Stabilizer: Buttery smooth. These motors are powerful, did cancel out swaying. No skill, all technology. Built-in LED: 6W, 2600k-5400K, little but ideal for vlog. If you shoot vlog with a hat, that light would be good enough to light your face. Long press side scroll wheel to turn on and slide to change color temperature. The light info will show on the gimbal screen as you turn on the light. It also comes with some magnetic filters to change the light color, sweet free add-on. Quick Release Plate: just release the plate without boarding balancing, it is a reliable locking system, I never worry about it. Screen & Setting: responsive and decent brightness, no issues with their interface. Four-button in the main screen, gimbal modes, balance status for all axes, system Info, and Settings. Gimbal modes include: Pan Follow Mode /Lock Mode /POV Mode /Follow Mode /Go Mode /Vortex Mode /Portrait Mode. In the setting, there are Auto Calibration, Parameter Setting( torque/smoothness/follow speed/joystick speed/Deadband), Parameter Rese, and Control Wheel Customization. All settings act as they should, no misleading. Ziyun also provides firmware updates, maybe more features on the way? Lightweight is always the correct way to go. At least, I never got a good shot when I am tired.

If you have a mirrorless camera, you need this in your life. I have a video I will upload once amazon sorts out why its not allowing me to post videos. I have many gimbals, and this so far tops them in terms of features/weight handling and size. To give a basis. The setup on it now is a Sony A7RIV with a smallrig cage and a 30mm Sigma lens. I did attempt to balance a zoom lens, but at full zoom it did outweight what the motors can handle. But for the size of this, Im not mad. It is an extremely heavy and top heavy setup So lets just hop to the pros and cons. PROS: * Small! Easy to carry and nice ergonomic grip * The controls are self explanatory * Its very lightweight and easy to carry. * The built in light deserves its own review. Its attached tot he gimbal, and there is a dial to adjust the brightness and the hue. Never saw anything like this on a gimbal. It saves me a lot of time carrying an extra light around * balancing is super easy. * It does carry a beefy setup camera wise * Connecting to the camera was easy. * Their app offers more options on top of whats already on the gimbal itself. * Its nice to have a different colored gimbal, love the white color Cons * The only con would be that the camera setup and the zoom sigma 24-70mm was a little to much for it. But at the same time, that is expecting ALOT from a compact gimbal like this. So sort of a con, but manageable

My camera isn't compatible with this gimbal, but it fuctions extrememly well for the actual gimbal work. I love the fill light also.

I bought this to use with my Sony A7III AND 28-70mm lens, my GoPro, and my iPhone 13pro Max. I bought this after watching reviews on YouTube and reading reviews online. It saw very difficult to try and ball ace my DSLR, which it shows one on the picture. I had to by counter weights for my iPhone and GoPro in order for it to work without shaking and turning off. I should have returned it after having all the trouble trying to get it to work , but I did not want to deal the the trouble of sending it back through Amazon.

This gimbal is super compact, lightweight, and sleek, is easy to set up/balance, and can be operated with one hand - all really important features for me. It has some cool modes - I’m hoping I can master the POV mode eventually! The battery life has been solid based on my limited use - I’ve only charged it once and have used it over multiple days. It pairs well with a lighter set up… for me that is my Fujifilm XT3 + XF 23mm f2 lens. It isn’t suitable for heavier lenses though, and I couldn’t get my XF 16-55mm f2.8 lens to balance - that lens will be delegated to my bigger gimbal. The front light is a bit of a gimmick to me, but I can see how it’s useful for vlogging or if you really need an “on-camera” light in a pinch. Overall I’d say it’s geared more toward casual use than professional use, but I plan to use it some professionally with a lighter set up - it will also make for a great travel companion!

Got this product yesterday and I was already struggling to get the device to auto calibrate because I had to go on reddit to find out that I had to press the 'M' button to get the motor stabalizers working (neither the user mannual nor tutorial videos explain this). Once I figured that out, I was able to use the gimbal with success...for about an hour. By the way, it's important to know that all the cameras it says it is "compatible" with are not actuall compatible with the software. This is hidden deep in the fine print and really only works with SOME sony cameras, lucky me I have a Canon m50. So, ESPECIALLY don't get this thinking the software will work with your camera. So I charged it overnight, went to use it again and it automatically read "upgrade" on the screen without me prompting it, and then FAILS IMMEDIATELY AND BECOMES UNUSABLE! The failed screen just stays there until you turn it off and turn it on and the miserable process starts all over again. This would all be bad enough, until you find out that their US customer service number goes straight to voicemail EVERYTIME. And reddit users I've seen complain about these issues through messages, emails, and on their facebook page, have not gotten responses. Even when I try to submit feedback through the app, it freezes the whole app! This is unacceptable customer service on every single level. So perhaps my product is defective but it doesn't even matter anymore, I am so frustrated with this thing at this point I'd rather use it to perform my own colonoscopy than to try to get another one working again. I mean look how long this review is? I wouldn't put this much time into a damn amazon review if I wasn't furious...Full refund, taking my business to DJI.

This gimbal is so useful to me as a video content creator. I got this gimbal because I upgraded to iPhone 14 Pro Max and the DJI OM4 kind of struggles to handle the weight of the new iPhone. The M3 has more powerful motors and is really designed for mirrorless cameras. It also works very well with my Sony ZV-E10 and A5100. The joystick, wheels control and touch screen menu options are Intuitive. There are many other features that I like: 1. The included USB-C to Micro-USB cables allows me to do Record/Stop on Sony cameras, and the power cable can provide power to charge the camera. 2. A lightning to USB-C cable can power the phone while shooting. 3. Built-in flashlight with easy control! No need to mount video lights! 4. Easy to balance, the brackets are all metal. 5. Phone app required to activate the device but it also allows access to set Timelapse key points (can be sent on the gimbal too, but phone app is nicer) 6. Motion capturing from the phone app to mirror the movement of the phone to the gimbal! 7. Fast USB-C charging at around 12 watts. 8. It has a quick release plate! 9. 1/4 adapter for mounting other accessories. I’m thinking of getting a SmallRig handle with a battery clamp to supply power to the gimbal while shooting.

Just received crane M3 gimbal. Never used any gimbal before, but I had no trouble getting this thing working in 10 minutes. The product has a beautiful modern design. Being a sturdy mechanical gadget, it doesn't add much weight to your hands. I can maneuver easily with my camera attached. (However, the camera itself is pretty heavy. If you want to go casual and use your phone, you'll need to buy a phone holder.) It also comes with a built-in LED light, which is helpful for closeups in a dark environment. Tried it in our backyard; the result was beyond my expectations. I am still exploring the different modes and features, but for now I feel this is a great compact gimbal for me.

Un'altra caratteristica che lo distinugue è una luce led da 800 lumen regolabile per temperatura ed intensitá che ci fornisce un supporto luminoso diretto, inoltre vi sono presenti dei filtri magnetici colorati per variare la luce. Abbiamo anche uno schermo touch facile da usare che ci permette di gestire tutti gli automatismi e di calibrare lo stabilizzatore per adattarlo alla fotocamera con i suoi diversi obbiettivi. Il peso del gibmal è di 730g e può sopportare un peso complessibo di 2,2kg, la ricaricarica è tipe-c e la ricarica avviene in 1,5-2 ore con un tempo di uso totale sulle 6 ore. La calibrazione è semplice grazie alle slitte degli assi e al software di calibrazione. Angefangen bei den mechanischen Sperren der Achsen, die einfach praktisch sind, wenn man den Gimbal sicher und platzsparend transportieren bzw. einpacken möchte. Die Schienen werden mit Klemmhebeln gesichert, die ich so noch nicht bei Gimbals gesehen habe. Ich kenne nur die Sicherungsschrauben, deren Bedienung minimal aufwendiger ist und etwas mehr Zeit benötigt. Auch bei der Kameraplatte hat man sich Gedanken gemacht, denn diese besitzt einen Schnellverschluss, der separat, durch einen Schieber, gesichert wird, um versehentliches Öffnen bzw. Entriegeln zu verhindern. An den Motoren befinden sich Markierungen, die zur Orientierung beim Ausrichten der Kamera oder Smartphone dienen, damit das Gewicht gleichmäßig auf den Achsen verteilt werden kann. Intuitiv lässt sich das Gerät nicht bedienen, weil es einfach zu viele Funktionen und Modi besitzt, hat man sich die Anleitung einmal ausführlich durchgelesen und den Gimbal zwei oder dreimal verwendet, dann wird die Bedienung schnell routiniert, denn manche Schalter und deren Funktion unterscheiden sich nicht von anderen Gimbals. Ich musste nach der Ausrichtung keine Nachbesserung vornehmen, habe dennoch die automatische Kalibrierung ausgeführt, die bei anderen Modellen nicht vorhanden ist. Im Menü kann man sich sogar die Ausrichtung der Achsen betrachten und diese wieder auf den Nullpunkt zurücksetzen, was auch mit einem Tastendruck ermöglicht wird, falls man alle Motoren gedreht hat. Die Motoren arbeiten einwandfrei, sie ruckeln nicht, drehen sich flüssig ohne kratzendes Geräusch, sind kraftvoll und klappen nicht plötzlich ein, wenn die Achsen stark geneigt werden, was beim Sirui Swift P1 schnell passiert, falls man den Griff schräg nach hinten neigt. Abhängig vom gewählten Modus bewegt sich die Kamera schnell in die gewünschte Richtung, wobei auch sanfte Drehungen möglich sind. Das Display reagiert, trotz seiner kompakten Größe, präzise und schnell auf die Steuerung und Auswahl. Beim Scrollen habe ich noch nie ungewollt eine Auswahl aktiviert. Auf der linken und der Unterseite befinden sich Gewinde, um einen Standfuß, Stative, Griffe oder externe Geräte, wie z.B. Mikrofone, Leuchten oder einen externen Monitor zu befestigen. Außerdem habe ich unten Kontakte entdeckt, die wahrscheinlich für eine Ladestation gedacht sind, die ich aber bisher nicht gefunden habe. Die integrierte Lampe, gefällt mir auch sehr gut, denn diese besitzt für viele Aufnahmen ausreichend Helligkeit, zudem lässt sich diese, sowie die Lichtfarbe anpassen, was oft sehr praktisch ist.

Aparência e acabamento merecem elogios. Apesar de pequeno, passa uma sensação de produto resistente (realmente é). Necessário um vídeo específico no YouTube da própria fabricante orientando como calibrar. Mesmo o peso das especificações dizer suportar câmeras mais pesadas, na Fuji X-T4 não pode ser usada com mais nenhum outro acessório, como um GRIP, pois alguns movimentos e a calibração ficam comprometidos.
