Organic Candied Lemon Peel (5kg)

On opening the bag there was no lemon smell but a rancid smell exactly like plums when they are left to rot on the tree a bit vinegary i put half the pack in a glass bowl and left it for a hour or so to see if the smell had lifted it had not still no lemon smell so i tried some. Its organic right! No taste what so ever definitely not candied peel lots of unripened green bits in there it is as if the producers got a very unripe lemon and diced the peel popped it in a bag with a little oil and thats it very hard pieces i do believe if they was used in a cake the only thing you would have to do is pick out the hard peel in my opinion as hard as the pieces are they will defiantly not blend into a cake
