I want to use this to decorate the church with vbs posters. will it leave a mark or pull the paint off?

No, it won't leave a mark our remove paint.

Is this easy to reuse a lot of times?

Yes! That's why I bought it - I've been able to reuse tacky putty over and over several times, for several years, to stick small, light objects (usually glow in the dark stars) to my walls and ceiling. I've also tried using the putty for sticking artwork (on 8x10" or 9x12" canvases/canvas boards) on walls, but I needed to use a lot more putty to make sure they didn't fall off. Each time you reuse it, just make sure you knead it very thoroughly until it's warm, soft, and "tacky" (slightly sticky) so that it will stick well.

Will these strips cut in to smaller pieces?

Oh definitely. Endless possibilities! The way you use it is to rip a small piece off, ball it up in your hands til it's softer and looks like chewing gum, and then use it behind papers and such to stick to the wall. It's totally reusable. I put my kids artwork up with it and light craft projects.
