Brilliant Design
I first came across Systema when living in New Zealand. It is a New Zealand company. What sets these aside from almost all other similar containers is that the holding clip is based on the box and not on the lid. This means that when you press them closed they do not try and force the box edges in so they clip closed easily and efficiently. I have dozens of them of every size in my kitchen and just about everywhere else I need one.

A tad disapointed
I have been looking for good quality plastic boxes and ordered a 3 set of systema boxes and one lock and lock box (which was more expensive) to check them both out. The systema ones look great, nice colours and I would say of average quality lid clips worked and everything but if are looking for boxes that are leakproof then they definately are not. I filled box with water and put the lid on turned it upside down and it literally poured out ....might not be so bad with thicker liquids like gravy but I doubt it would make a lot of difference. The lock and lock box was almost leak prof after the same treatment but there was a slight trickle through the seal. I would say that thicker liquids would be ok. The lock lock and lock were far better quality thicker and more robust plastic and not as brittle in appearance as the systema ones . More expensive though but probably worth it for boxes that will no doubt last a lot longer

BPA free, eliminates plastic bags, keeps fridge clean and tidy
After the first pack of Sistema Clip there was no going back. It is hands down the best food storage containers I have ever had. I chose them because they are BPA-free.They come in all sorts of convenient sizes, they stack well both for storage when not in use and in the fridge/freezer. They are easy to clean even by hand, just make sure you rinse the lid well (take out the rubber seal so no soap is left under it - it takes a few seconds only and is super easy). At this time I have 9 of them in this size (and multiple ones in other sizes). All food and leftovers go in them and I no longer use plastic bags in the fridge. I literally use them for everything and not only do they store food well, they also keep my fridge nice, clean and tidy making the fridge a whole lot easier to clean as there are no disgusting spills.I also have the large sizes and use them for fruits, vegetables, meat etc. to keep things separated in the fridge avoiding contamination from things dripping on each other but I don't use the lids on the large ones. It's convenient simply taking out the whole box of meat or veggies and putting it on the counter while you pick what you need - and back in the fridge with the whole box. It's also easy to see what needs to go on the shopping list as it takes no time to empty the fridge, check each box and putting them back in. This system has also eliminated the risk of some small bag with leftovers is lost at the back of the fridge. It took me a great many years to find food containers that didn't eventually disappoint and end up in the bin - so Sistema clip have my warmest recommendations.

Really good boxes 2l
I bought a set of 3 before Christmas to store S.R. flour, and was so please with them I bought another 2 sets last week, storing biscuits, cereals, and the bread flour, it's handy having the colour coded hinges, they are all stackable and in a small kitchen this is a great asset. The lids close with a positive click, and the neoprene seal in the lid makes it pretty airtight, I haven't stored liquids so can't tell if they are watertight. Recommend. J

Description is a little miss leading
The issue is that if even by mistake you even put the lid with the tub into the microwave the whole set WILL NO LONGER BE LEAKPROOF. The description here makes a meagre job of making this known. The other issue is that at £10 you really dont want part of the tupperware that is microwave safe and the lid not microwave safe. This is making things quite awkward and frankly a lot of competitors are likely to do a better job.Disappointed as I like Sistema plasticware as its sleek, durable (aside of getting misshaped and leaking) and easy to clean.
