Good vest

This is an actual real Army surplus FLS system vest!! How can you lose for this cheap price! I'm getting this for my nephew's son, and even if it is a little heavy for him, and too big, It will still be a great addition to the set of toy Army items I got him for Christmas. The fake vests that sell as costumes on Amazon are just not the quality, and won't be an item they can use more than once. This vest will last a lifetime, and he will quickly grow into it, and it has adjustments that can fit small torsos, and you can even get the PDF field manual online for the MOLLIE system FLS vest! I think this is a win win situation even if he doesn't presently fit it, because he will quickly grow into it, and can use if for hunting or camping the rest of his life! It was way better than buying a kids costume that he will just grow out of, and destroy the first few times he plays with it. I say again - how can you lose!!!!

I wasn't lucky enough to get a brand new one as another reviewer posted, but I expected it to be used, and I honestly didn't think there were any new ones out there. Either way, I'm 100% satisfied, as mine is in excellent condition. For the price, this is the best chest rig available. For those complaining about it being too big or too small, you simply haven't figured out how to adjust the waist belt yet. Yes, it is adjustable. Search YouTube and there's plenty of instructional videos that help you unlock the sheer awesomeness of the USGI FLC!

Just got this vest and so far completely satisfied. For this price, I don't think you can beat it (btw, I'm using this to attach my MOLLE DSLR camera case with my Canon EOS 60D on one side, and a "jellyroll" with my 50mm and 75-300mm lenses inside to the other). With respect to some other reviewers, I just wanted to relate a few important details of this purchase in contrast to their negative reviews: 1- The product I received looks practically identical to the picture shown. 2- I think some people mentioned additional pouches- there are none, and for $15 and here in 2 days, I don't care. Still happy. 3- IT IS ADJUSTABLE AT THE WAIST. You just have to be smarter than the vest... at the back, there are 2 T shaped rigid straps that can be taken out of webbing to adjust the waist. Overall, unless this thing literally falls apart during my upcoming Grand Canyon trip, I am completely happy with this buy.

This came in on time and looking good. The vest will work for day out for airguns, hiking, trail walking, over all a good product. The adjustment was a bit confusing. An email to the seller got a response that did not answer how but did lead me to figure it out. 4 stars is for that reason. There is a molle strip at the back waist level of the vest. There is a covered metal tab on either side that you must bend a little to get out of the loops. Once done you can adjust to fit any size. Adjust and re-insert. Good to go.

Received this vest in perfect condition. This vest was brand new and it appears to have been never used. It allows for a lot of adjustment and the quality of materials and workmanship is great. If you're thinking of getting a vest for hiking or some tactical activities, I would highly recommend this one. Plenty of PALS straps to attach your MOLLE gear. And you can't beat the price.

Item was in perfect shape - brand new - when I received it. I am a big guy (6'2" 300) and it adjusts so it fits too large for me (will fit over jackets in winter). Plenty of Molle connection points on the front and sides. I wish they had designed it so there were connection points on the back shoulder area, but it's still a great piece of kit. Perfect for rapid response (out the door at 0300) when you don't want to grab your entire kit. Molle pouches are readily available set up your load out how ever you want. Much better than the sewn-on "assault vests" coming out of China that you can't move the pouches!

I really hate surplus military gear but unfortunately it tends to be the only thing that works. Vests that carry stuff are very useful but most so-called cargo vests are more fashion than function. A vest with 30 tiny pockets will carry 30 tiny objects and nothing else. A vest with 4 giant pockets will have all your stuff jostling around. MOLLE gear lets you configure your gear to be useful. It looks stupid but it works. MOLLE (or most milsurp gear) is like Linux. You can configure it to work any way you want but it will never be pretty. Everything else is like Apple. It's very pretty but is way overpriced, very limited. and will only work the way someone who's never worked imagines it should work. Windows is a backpack, not a load bearing vest.
