I ordered white and that's what I received.

I need headphones to plug into a portable DVD player

If you can properly plug into the dvd I think these headsets will work. I use them with iPad and with older computer with no problems.

Has anyone tried using them for gaming?

I dont use them for gaming, but I use them as a headset for conference calls. I love them.

Do these support wireless BT or are they only wired?

They are wired only. Will not support BT.
