Visual Depth & Swirl Masking ​Gloss & Darkening: Excellent. The black-pigmented acrylic polymers slightly tint the clear coat, adding noticeable depth and giving faded black or charcoal paint a rich, wet, mirror-like gloss. ​ Filling Power: Good for light defects. It easily conceals faint wash marring and micro-swirls. However, it is purely a filler wax—it will not remove moderate scratches or stone chips. ​ Hydrophobics & Durability ​Water Behavior: Tight, rounded water beading that sheds water and road grime easily. ​ Longevity: Realistic durability is around 3 to 5 months on a daily-driven car, provided the vehicle isn't exposed to aggressive touchless tunnel washes. It requires a 24-hour dry cure time before exposure to rain or washing for maximum durability. ​ Application Tips ​Beware of Over-Application: Spray 1–2 squirts directly onto a microfiber towel or applicator rather than blasting it across the panel to prevent stubborn high spots and streaking. ​ Use Two Towels: Work panel by panel—spread with the first towel, then immediately buff off with a second clean, dry, plush microfiber. ​ Staining: The formula contains actual black pigment; wear nitrile gloves and designate older microfiber towels for the job, as it will stain them black. ​ The Verdict An ideal choice for owners of black, charcoal, or dark metallic cars who want deep gloss and ceramic water beading without the time and expense of a multi-stage machine paint correction.

Excellent stuff. bought this , and the ceramic acrylic black polish to rejuvenate the paint on my 12 year old audi. Spent a few solid hours with the DA polisher and the polish, with a polishing pad to bring the paint back to excellent condition, not scratch free but even after just the polish it was clearer, richer and glossier. after the recommended 24 hour cure time I applied 1 layer of this product and was immediately impressed with the results, improved gloss and slickness, which improves as it cures further. A definite improvement in the gloss, depth of colour and clarity. It weathers well too, maintaining its shine even hour long commutes in the heavy rain, it does show water spots, but they all do.. It is fairly easy to work with, despite what turtle wax will tell you, i would avoid using it in the sun/on hot panels, and you need to spread it and work it in thoroughly. It is WELL worth spending a few minutes doing that, then buff off well. All-in-all, SUPERB.

This stuff is goated. Easy spray on, fantastic finish, beads water for months. Haven't had a swirl mark yet. Used it on my 2008 and 2026 black cars. People ask me how many times a month I wash and wax them (used to be 2-3 times a month. I say I dont anymore because Its not required. Only need 2 sprays per panel and one on microfiber.
