POWERS ON AFTER BEING TURNED OFF
Very easy set up. The speed is so much better than my laptop. I am amazed by this little, but powerful CPU. I gave four stars because it continues to power on by itself after it has been turned off. It hasn't gotten hot, which is also great. I just unplug it to prevent it from mysteriously turning on and using unnecessary power. I wanted to submit a photo or a video, but Amazon has taken this process away from my reviews, so I'm unable to do this on any of my reviews.

This is it chief
I rarely write amazon reviews but I had to make an exception for this guy.I'm super impressed with this PC. I'm using it to replace a home theater PC and server. When I built my previous HTPC I thought it was pretty slick. It was in a nice, receiver-like case and the 5th gen i5 handled all of my needs. However I'm downsizing and wanted something smaller. Its amazing to me how small and efficient CPUs have gotten over the past 8 years. The i5 in this is fast, quiet, and under normal use runs cool enough to keep it in media center cabinet with door. Idle temps run mid 40s-50s C. The fan is essentially inaudible. The inside is tidy and comes with single slot 8g ram (looks to be Micron). The SSD is a generic-appearing NVME M.2 drive and it is fast. It is covered with a heat shield in the case which is nice. Temps stay in the low 40s. Read speeds are comparable to my main gaming PC with a WD Black NVME but the write speeds drop off a little bit. It is significantly faster than a typical 2.5" SSD.The case is small, plastic-ly feeling, and light. I can't believe what this thing can do despite being about 1/10th the size of the PC its replacing. The top aluminum cover with logo is pretty tacky and cheap feeling but overall inoffensive and won't get covered in fingerprints/dust like a typical piano black finish. The powerbrick is light and small enough. Packaging was nice and it came with 2 short HDMI cables if you want to mount it behind or under your monitor. There are 5 USB ports (4xUSB, 1xUSB-C) which is crazy for its form factor. Two HDMI ports on back for multi monitor support. I'm using a dummy HDMI plug to just remote in.Set up took seconds. Windows 10 Pro is installed which is great if you want to use it as a server. Built in wifi works great for setup if you're not near an ethernet port.I'm using this hooked up to a cheap 4-bay HDD box to run Emby, Sonarr/Radarr, and create local backups on my network. No issues handling this or transcoding streams from Emby to my phone. This is a solid alternative if you don't want to drop $$$ for a NAS. In this setting its a bit overkill for my needs so you may be able to find a cheaper alternative with i3 or cerelon processors. If you use this for typical office tasks you will have no problems. You're probably better off using Steam to remote play on this from a dedicated gaming PC if you plan on using this in you're living room for gaming.I bought this at a pretty legit discount but even at $469 at the time of this review I think its a decent price given current chip shortages and price increases. I could not find a comparable barebones NUC and RAM + SSD that would beat the price.

Excellent performance for my needs
I bought the SEi8 model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 SSD. I received it a week ago. The initial setup process right out of the box and turned on for the first time, no hassle. Windows 10 successfully activated. Installing my own software without problems. I already had an 8 GB memory card, so I installed it and my Mini PC had a total of 16 GB.The Mini PC is very very fast. I must clarify that I do not use it for gaming. My main use is for remote work through VPN and Microsoft Desktop, WEB browsing, Microsoft Office and programming with tools like Netbeans and others. But I insist, the mini pc is very very fast. I have the loading of several applications configured at startup (Teams, WhatsApp Desktop, Telegram Desktop, among others) and the computer is ready to use in a few seconds after turning on.What I have detected is that if the Mini PC is turned on first and then the monitor, or if both are turned on almost simultaneously, the image does not appear on the monitor, the signal does not arrive. I have to disconnect the HDMI cable of the monitor from the Mini PC unit, reconnect it, and then the image appears in monitor. I have read this problem in various forums and reviews from other users. After a couple of days I realized that if I first turn on the monitor, wait about 10 seconds, and then turn on the Mini PC, the image appears without any problem. I don't know what the problem will be, but it would be good if BeeLink gave more information or a solution to the matter. For the rest and for my needs, it is an excellent Mini PC. As much for its performance as for its size and portability.UPDATE (August 2023). In February 2021, I purchased this mini PC. For approximately the past 2 months, the fan has started to become too noisy. I opened up the mini PC to clean the inside dust, reassembled it, but the fan remains just as loud (and it's getting louder every day). I've tried to find a replacement fan for this mini PC in the country where I live (Colombia), but it hasn't been possible. I wrote to Beelink technical support to find out where I can buy a replacement fan, and they told me that they were out of stock and to find a technician to try to repair it. I'm really surprised and a little disappointed in Beelink...The mini pc isn't so old (it's two and a half years old) that the fan is already annoying, and besides that it's already discontinued and you can't get a replacement. On the other hand, the design of the mini pc does not allow the easy and safe adaptation of a fan of another brand and design.

Quick little NUC clone. i5 (2.1ghz not "up to 4.1ghz)
Quick little NUC clone. i5 (2.1ghz not "up to 4.1ghz) but 16GB/500GB really decent little machine. 2x HDMI ports. it runs my kids Minecraft server awesomely. came with Win 11, not 10. But updated it to Server 2022, so it's pretty great. 8 cores.
