The stitching wore out on this "overlap" seam on an old pair of work boots. Great boots that I ware a lot. Would cost a lot of $$ to have it fixed by a boot cobbler. Figured it was worth spending $10 to see if it works, stands the test of time. Glued the seam in May. Wore them off and on all summer doing various outdoor stuff. That seem is in a place that is subjected to a lot of "forces", pulling etc. 5+ months later it is still sealed tight. Very impressed. For kicks and giggles I glued the sole back on to an old pare of sneakers. More then half it on both pairs were flapping. Wasn't sure if it would work because I was gluing the soles to the cloth underside of the sneakers. Months later lots of use in my gardens still holding. This stuff is perfect to glue the rubber toe back on sneakers etc. Works great gluing leather soles that have pulled away when the stitching has worn through. Use it on some of my leather horse tac. In short I highly recommend this product. I bought more to keep on hand. Strong glue, that I am sure can be used on other things then leather. Better then supper glue

I received this BOOT BOND in one day (thanks Amazon!) and I got excited to repair my favorite brown boots (leather upper/rubber sole). The sole came apart and the overlapping trim had also come loose so I was anxious to try and repair them myself with this glue. I noticed it was a good size bottle for the price so it was a good value (vs super small super glue tubes) The glue was a good consistency, not too runny or gloppy at all which made the flow at the tip very smooth and easy to control. ( I actually did NOT get it all over myself like I predicted) The glue set up very quickly therefore not a lot of mistakes which I quickly dabbed up with a Q-tip. Overall, the BOOT BOND repaired my boots very well and I think it's a great product! *thumbs up* (note: I only gave 4 stars because I will not be able to test in the moisture/rain due to the boots being leather) KCJ Nashville, TN

Only worth the price great quality and consistency that overly messy. I used them on my work boots and they are definitely waterproof. I run in them and have to lift things in them and they seem to work and function just fine. There’s no leakage of water into my boots overall I’m very pleased.

Not as effective as I thought. Works ton boots but not so on tennis shoes. A little disappointing!
