Best Purchase for Beginners!!!!
My cuticles look a little crusty in the photos but these are what they look like 4 days later. That was on my part I should’ve removed them properly but this was my first time EVER using dip power. I love it! They are definitely not professional top tear nails but for a first time user and never had done my nails like this before I am very pleased!!Over time using this kit you will probably get way better doing them! Nail prep is super important for the longevity of the nails so make sure to do some good research on that & even follow a YouTube tutorial for the best outcome possible while taking your time! The only complaint I have is the dust particles you can still see through the top coat but it is only while inspecting the nails close up. It would probably be best to use a very dense brush to get off all of the excess powers instead of the brush they send with it and that would probably solve this problem easily but other than that. I absolutely love this kit, super easy to use and affordable!

Money saver
things to know- 1. this definitely works better for longer nails2. I found it easier to shape at the end instead of before the top coat (step 3)3. It looks better the more you do it, practice definitely makes perfect!I was a little intimidated having never done dip nails and only having them done professionally once (bad experience) but this kit was simple and easy to use! I recommend 3 coats of the powder, that extended the wear length for me personally. I get about 2 weeks out of these and are easy to remove when you are ready without damaging the nail! I will definitely be purchasing more colors!

Very impressed with this kit!!
I got this kit so I could save money and do my nails at home, I totally suck at using regular nail polish. The kit is super easy to use although it does take a few times to totally get the hang of it. I fully shape and buff my nails before applying the powder. You do have to be somewhat precise when applying the base coat so that it goes on evenly, otherwise the powder will end up clumpy in spots. I can get them to last about a week (and that's with me not doing them the greatest) which I don't mind cuz thats usually how long they'd last if I got them done in a nail salon. When applying the base you do have to be careful to not get it on your cuticles or on the sides of the nail where your skin meets, otherwise the powder will lift off in a couple days (some of the lower reviews with pics looked as if the person didn't apply it very well and thats why it chipped or broke). I've typically done 3 coats of the powder but I'll have to try 2 coats to see if that'll make them last longer. Overall, I'm beyond happy with this kit and I've impressed myself by giving my nails a salon quality look at home!! I'm now looking to get other colors to have more options

Holy Stay Power, Batman!!!
I’ll admit I bought this kit on a whim. I’ve tried having my nails done both professionally and at home, and they just never seem to stay on my nails so I eventually just give up.NOT THIS ONE!The reason my nails look grown out is because these babies have stayed on for over *two weeks*. I’ve had my nails done professionally so many times and each time they maybe lasted 5 days max.I am FLOORED by how well these have stayed on. None of them are peeling up, none have chipped, nothing. (I’m honestly a little worried about how I’m going to get them off- but I’ll take that over only having them for a couple of days at a time!). I’m hard on my nails and I honestly can’t believe how perfectly these have held up.The only caveat is there is definitely a learning curve. The initial coat before the dip needs to be suuuuuper thin. I made the mistake of putting too thick a coat on and got some lumps, but they were easy to sand down with my rotary tool before finishing them with the top coat.Seriously, if you have nails that don’t take well to polish/gel/acrylic- this kit will NOT disappoint!!I got nothing in exchange for this review, just stoked to have finally found something that WORKS!!

Great starter kit for beginner dip DIY
I'd been looking for a starter kit for dip nails for a while and decided to start with this one. I've used this 2x so far and have gotten 2 weeks life with no chipping. Would have lasted longer if I was okay with nail outgrowth. Some benefits:1. Gold glitter pot has great coverage. You don't need another color underneath.2. The two other colors I've used look great3. Color pots are larger than what I've seen in AzureBeauty kits4. Comes with a brush saver bottle, which is definitely necessary5. Packaging is nice, in that bottles and pots can be placed back into the foam inserts for storage. Some tips for first time users:1. Use a binder (not included), which will just dry out the nail. I've found this is sufficient for good adherence, and I don't have to rough up my nail surface.2. If you dip instead of pour, do so at a 45 degree angle.3. Keep your brushes clean. Clean them in the brush saver bottle.4. Thin coats of step 1 is important.5. Nail prep, nail prep, nail prep. You want your nails as clean as possible with cuticles pushed back or cut off. Avoid painting any steps to hit cuticles, or you will end up with lifting, similar to UV gel systems.6. After the last activator step, and before top coat, file/buff a lot. This will help even out your application. The top coat will fix any buffing marks, so don't worry about them.7. Seal the tips of nails with at least one layer of top coat during that step.
