I have used this product for over five years. Since I was introduced to this product it has literally changed me. I suffer from extremely dry and cracked hands in the winter and tried many things over the years. Nothing helped until I used this product. It’s been great. I recently needed to buy more and purchased a tube on Amazon. The product is still great, but the one thing I noticed is the consistency of the product is much thinner. I do not particularly like this, but the product still works well.

Much better and healthier than Vaseline

There’s dry skin, very dry skin, and then me. I have used every product on the market, and this one saved my skin! I use it on my face, lips, hands, and body. And I feel so much better about putting it on my kids than petroleum-based products. It’s the consistency of aquaphor, and I often mix it in with lotion.

Listen, we LOVE Waxelene, and we've used it with our kids for a long time now. The big bummer recently was their 9oz, glass containers are apparently no longer in stock, on backorder, or may be discontinued. So, we decided to try this out since it has more content than the smaller glass containers. BIG MISTAKE. Though the quality of the compound inside is the same, and we like the convenience of the tube, getting the Waxelene out of these things takes HANDS OF STEEL. You seriously have to bear down on it to get any out, and it comes out like thick, nearly solid glue or pus (sorry, it does look like that). Really annoying. Keeping it warm can help how easily it comes out, but it's really a mystery to me how they screwed this up, though I'd bet it has something to do with the general consistency of Waxelene. Meaning, it just doesn't work well in tubes. We'll finish using this batch, but afterwards we'll go back to whatever glass containers they have, regardless of how small they are.

I had an alarming bout of extremely dry skin on my face early this winter when the heat came on - including non-stop flaking and my normally soft skin feeling like sandpaper! I was at my wits' end and tried many things to add moisture to my skin, including multiple kinds of expensive creams, serums, oils, and lotions, but my skin just drank them up and was still insatiably dry. The only thing that fixed it was layering a light coat of Waxelene on top of everything as the last step, before going to sleep at night. It fixed the issue almost immediately and has helped me so much this winter! You only need a tiny bit - rub it between your palms to liquify. It does not clog my pores as I always apply it on a clean face (I wouldn't put it over makeup or anything like that). It also smells nice - like rosemary honey. I feel like I will use this lovely product forever!
