I have lusted after this style of cutter for many years but just could not justify the cost. Many of the cutters didn't have good reviews and I didn't want to be disappointed and go through the hassle of returning it. I found this version and saw that the reviews were good and that the price was very reasonable. I used some gift cards I received and purchased it. As stated by others it is heavy so put it where you want it and keep it there unless you can talk a strong family member into moving it for you. It lines up and cuts like a knife through soft butter. I have cut through hundreds of sheets all the way down to 5 sheets at a time. I can cut a huge piece or the tiniest sliver off the edges of my stack of papers. It comes with extra parts which is one of the most awesome reasons I chose this particular cutter. I tuck them under the printer so I won't lose them. They fit perfectly under it and I know I won't lose them. I am very happy that I finally have purchased this cutter. I have had it for a few months now and use it more often than I thought I would. I hardly spend anytime trimming my pages down for journals and they are all the same size. No more cutting one or two pages at a time for me!

I'm keeping this for now only because I'm desperate to cut paper for my business after the shipment showed up with inaccurate dimensions. But it's ridiculous to get this nasty second-hand cutter at this price point. So many different things were gross. I understand products can't always get trashed after a return. But they could at least sanitize it and make cosmetic repairs so it's not so obvious. I'll either return or request a partial refund. In terms of functionality, I'll cut to the chase and say it cut. And saved the day. But from the very first cut the plastic thing that the blade touches got a deep slit. So I had to be aware to "ease off the gas" as the blade got closer to it. Yes, they include an extra. But it should be a better material. If they don't sell that part separately I'll 100% return this. The thing to turn. Super finnicky. Feels like it will fall apart. It came in a gigantic box. I did not think it was this huge. Like 2 feet on one side. Not sure if being this heavy and clunky is necessary or if they just haven't figured out how to make a lighter version to do the same job. The guide is a joke. It lines up at the top but skews to the side a bit near the bottom. So you have to hold it in place tightly while aligning the paper against it, and then putting down the clamp. If you don't hold it your paper will never cut straight. If priced less I'd not be annoyed but this was pretty much $200 so should be dang near perfection.

I was hesitant to purchase since there were no reviews, but decided to take a chance since it looks like just about every other one on here for sale. I'm not disappointed at all. I've used it several times to cut and haven't had any trouble getting everything trimmed the first time. It comes with an extra cutting base (?...not sure what it's called) and usually when people complain about the blade not cutting anymore, it's due to this piece being worn down, so it was nice to have an extra included. At some point you will have to sharpen the blade, or replace it. That's just what happens when you cut paper. How many of you grew up with a mom that sews and would come after you if you touched her sewing scissors to paper? Same idea. Paper dulls blades over time. The included instructions were great and it also came with an extra nob and base feet. If anything changes I'll be sure to update, but so far after a few weeks and multiple uses I have no complaints, it works perfect. Update: March 2023 and still a great cutter! No complaints.

Arrived dirty, filthy, looks used and bar is uneven, which makes this hard to line up a lot of papers. Wasted product. one big ACE PAPER WEIGHT. HEAD THIS WARNING.... Don't waste your money.

While I wish this item would of worked out it didn’t for me. It’s hard to get the right measurements that might be user error but the paper shifted every time if I didn’t bring the press down tight enough and if I did that it would leave indentations on my sheets. The lever had some black dust coming out of it every time I made a cut which was weird. I wish it would of worked out but for cutting a bunch of notepads in batches they always ended up being different sizes.

It now works very well so far. Took a couple tries to notice why some cuts were not straight and turns out the paper guide bar is not straight. In the picture it lines up in the middle but the tops and bottom are not flush so that was my issue. Once I made some adjustments to cater for this I am now getting even cuts.

I got this to trim the edges of my journals I make for my business. It took a bit of trial and error for me to personally get them how I wanted, but now that I know where to place my journals, this is amazing! Well worth the investment. Cuts through quite a bit at once, and I love that it has safety features, plus extra blades.

I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with the Paper Cutter Trimmer I received. Sadly, the blade is slanted, and it doesn't cut papers correctly; it trims one edge and leaves the other uncut. This is a glaring product defect that the company should have identified and rectified before shipping. It's an utter disgrace that even after processing a refund, I'm still expected to bear the high costs of shipping, taxes, and excessive governmental fees. The company should have had the basic responsibility to ensure the machine was in perfect condition before sending it out. Not only have I wasted a significant amount of time waiting, but I've also incurred a considerable financial loss due to this oversight. This is completely unacceptable and a poor reflection on the company's quality control and customer service. Truly, my trust in the company and in Amazon has been deeply shattered.
